I believed the President was actually doing KIA commercials on my local radio station. This was in the 90's when Clinton was in, but now my nieces think Obama is doing them!

I used to believe that when they played songs on the radio, the bands actually played in the radio studio. I always wondered how they could so quickly set up for and start the next song.

I used to think that if you began in the morning you would easilly have enough time in one day on any given radio station to play all the records that have ever been made and that this was what music stations did, they just rearranged the order ever day

When I was young I knew the songs on the radio were recordings. The singers were not in the studio at the time but I thought the commercials were done live. After all, the dj was really in the studio so why not the guys in the commercials too.

I used to believe that songs on the radio were performed by tiny little bands in my trunk. Every single band on Earth was microscopically there, hidden in the thin carpet, and every once in a while they had a chance to perform with their supersonically loud voices.

I used to believe when I was very very young that the sound coming out of radio sets was made by very tiny little people.Probably tinier than a third of my pinky then.
My older sibling actually did well to enhance that believe.Well,my kid brain used to think there was a whole world in those tiny boxes.Now I know better;)

My mom used to tell me that if I turned a radio on and went away it would break. I guess she did it to keep me from wasting power. But I beleived her for the next few years, then I started to wonder just how does the radio know when you leave it? Now I am 14 and I still get a little nervous sometimes if I leave a radio on while I'm away.

when I was about 5 years old I thought that a there was 1 radio station for the entire world. I thought it was in space conected to a satalite and that it was pretty much a big stage that people would perform on.

I used to think that songs on the radio station played at the exact time the next day or the same day next week. So anytime I heard a song I liked, I checked the clock and tried to memorize the time,but usually i forgot anyway.

when my twin and i were about 6 or 7 we thought when you turn the radio on in the car little people in the speakers would play instruments and sing! one time i figured out a way to open the speaker and i stuck my hand in it! i thought the little people bit me!!!

I used to believe that if you went to another town or state, the radio and TV programs would be different. The first time I traveled out-of-state, I was shocked that the radio still played the same songs that it played at home.
