When I was little we had a dog and a cat. I thought dogs were boys and cats were girls so I thought that dogs and cats got married. I didn't think that 2 dogs could marry without being gay and 2 cats would be lesbians. I was later told that both of our pets were female and I was disappointed as that would mean they couldn't have baby kittens/dogs.

I used to think that all dogs were male and all cats were female and when the cat had babies, the males would be dogs, the females cats.. I learned this wasnt true when I was 6 and saw my neighbors dog give birth.. And when I got my dog, who was female.
