When I was younger I lived by Grain Alligators (grain elevators) and had always wondered how the alligators had gotten into the tall concrete buildings and how people got the grain in with out getting eaten.
When I was 5, I really wanted to have a pet mouse. My parents wouldn't buy me one, so I constructed many different kids of 'mouse traps', hoping to catch a mouse and keep it as a pet.
One of the mouse traps involved a circle being drawn on the ground that the mouse had to stay inside until I could come get it in the morning. I wondered how I would get the mouse to stay there. My older brother suggested writing a message on the ground which said "stay here", but I said it wouldn't work - we had to write it in 'mouse language'. I then tried to figure out what "stay here" would be written like in mouse language.
When i was little i used to be afraid of polar bears looking inside my window, so i hated going to sleep. i was such an idiot. =3

A very long time ago at the zoo we'd go to, they had some Przewalski's horses. I couldn't remember their name, I only knew the "alski" part. I figured that since they were the only horses at the zoo, and that the zoo was the only place I saw them, I could stick "zoo" on their name and be correct. I called them "Zooalski horses" and wondered why my parents were laughing at me. xD
I used to believe that every species of animal had it's own language and was just as intelligent as humans. I also used to believe that fish got into an isolated pond via evolution from pond scum
My grandmother used to hang small, decorative animals from her flowerpots. I believed these animals to have all died while on a long journey to get to the plant.
I used to believe that water rats came out at 7pm and would attack me. I went home at 6:55pm for a long time as a kid.

When I was a kid one old lady used to take care of me when my mom was working.
She moeved in my neighbourhood to live with her son and his family, but before she lived on a village.
So she sometimes talked about her life there(what was very amuzing for a 3 year old) and about all the animals she had.
The story that impresed me the most was about foxes, who came on dark nights to steal her chickens. She did't know that foxes for me were terrible blood thirsty creatures with creepy eyes.
Foxes became my biggest fear. I saw them on the edge of my bed, stearing at me,in the basement where I had to keep my bike, and everywhere in the apartment when I was alone at home.
Today foxes are one of my fav animals.
And I can never see what was so scary about them.
When i was young there was a long driveway leading out of our farm onto a road. On the other side of the road was a forest. My Dad used to tell me that giant Bulls and Cows used to live and roam in the forest and that they werent too friendly. I always believed him, and although i have not since looked for them, the myth hasnt been proven(or disproven) since!

I used to believe female bulls existed. I thought the difference between cows and bulls was cows were bicolor while bulls were solid-color and more muscular with longer horns.
When I was kid, I was under the mistaken impression that a quarter horse and a Shetland Pony were the same thing.
