When I was a little girl, I used to think that my parents left me alone when I slept and they made audio-recording with thier voices so that I think that they were still in our house. So every evening I looked behind the door to check if my parents were still there. I understood the truth when I saw that every evening they were still there and I felt stupid.

I used to think that my house was bugged. That even if I was alone my parents could know what I was saying or doing, because they had hidden tiny cameras about the house. On TV, after all, if you did something bad you always got caught on camera. Sometimes I even wondered if people could bug my thoughts.

My brother was vacume cleaning cuz my mom made him. And so he told me that if I stepped too close to him while he was vacuming, he would vacume my feet up. Now when I vacume, I make sure to be at least 1 foot away from it.(Ha ha. Foot)
I used to believe that those tanks by peoples' houses, containing propane, contained milk, just in case the people ran out!
When I was little I asked my mother about a painting we had. It was of a man in armour on a horse. She explained that it was 'Don Quixote" and was from a book she loved. I heard 'Donkey Hotay' so I thought the book must be about the 'donkey' the man in the painting was riding. It was a number of years before I learned the truth.
Ya know when you're in your room at night and a car drives past your window, then you see the headlights on your wall? Well, until I was 9, I believed that whenever I saw those on my wall, it meant that I was up too late...
