My 7 year old sister has Danny Phantom living in our basement. I believe he's also her boyfriend.
I'm not sure this should go here, but when I was little I didn't really have imaginary friends, (Mom insists I had one named "Dolphin Girl," but I don't remember that,) instead I had imaginary enemies...
They were some sort of purple gloop monsters, I think I saw one on T.V. once while I was at my aunt's house one night and it stuck. They lived in my basement and if I happened to be jumpy or nervous that day, they would be down there plotting to kill me or something. I would always be scared to go down there because I was sure that if I just turned around quick enough I'd spot one trying to get me!
There was one who came in later on, though, who wasn't exactly a goop monster. I don't really know what he was, but I'd imagine that he had a crush on me and would convince the others not to kill me. It was kind of fun, actually... Once I pretended that the Pokemon in my cousin's Pokemon Blue game would pop out and defend me, too! It didn't last very long though, because I had to give the game back to her...
I've long since learned that they don't exist, of course, but to this day I'm still a little scared of our cold, dark, HUGE basement with the light switches all over the place...
I used to believe that someone was watching me when I was in the dark. that really scared me
There was a loop rug of an owl that hung in our basement, and my brother and cousin and some friends would play "dark hide-and-seek" and whenever I was "it" and would give up looking for them, they would tell me that there was a trap door behind it and that was why I could never find them...you don't know how many times I played hide-and-seek with my friends and could NEVER find that door!
Once my dad told me that Egor was living in our celar. I didnt know at the time that Egor was Dr. Frankenstiens lab assisstant. Instead, i thought he was a giant dead eagle, and was forever remembered as the Big Ghost Eagle name Egor that lived in our cellar.
When my parents added a crawl space in our basement i had the idea that there was an old guy named Bob living in it
When I was little my grandfather would tell us a story. "There once was a little (boy or girl) named (enter name) who came to visit" (I don't remember all of it), but he would say it in such a quiet deep voice, that all us grandchildren would get close to hear, and he would go on, and at the end he would scream "And the Boggieman Got Them" - We would all scream -- TO this day, I will not be in their basement alone, and I walk up the stairs backwards, because Im afraid of the boogieman! - Im 26!
I used to believe that ghosts lived in my basement; this was only fueled by my father telling me that they actually did...
that people were in my basement but it was my dad's Wwe wrestleing cardboard stand up thing and i never knew who it was but i thought they tried to kidnap me or they were a burgular I usually relized them by thier shadows and I would never go in the basement
A woogie:
A boogie man and a warewolf live in the basement and like to eat little girls
i used to believe that when i was little that monsters lived in my basement and i couldn't go down there alone and whenever you went to the bathroom and flushed the toilet the monsters came up through the closet so i would flush then run.
a giant spider lived under the landing to the stairs leading down to my basement
I believed that monsters lived in my basement & came alive at night. In the house I lived in as a child, there was a door in my basement behind the radiator that I think led to some weird, unused little cubby-type space, but when I was little I thought that it led to another dimension where the monsters lived.
That The Incredible Hulk lived in my basement.
I used to believe there was a giant squirrel that lived in my grandparents basement. I would only go down there with a lot of people.
When I was Younger im 24 now, My mom told me there was an old woman who was locked in the basement of our house by her son. One night she escaped and her son found her brought her back to the house and killed her
I used to think that evil wolves lived in our basement at night, and also snakes. I always avoided going down there at night, and if I absolutely had to, I would dart down there, do what I needed to do, then run up the stairs because the wolves were chasing me.
When I was about 7ish I believed that there were zombies in my basement
I used to run up the basement stairs as fast as I could because I thought the boogeyman was going to get me.
when i was little i thought if i didnt run up the basement stairs when my back was turned, a wolf would get me
