You know the film "The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe"? Well, I used to open the doors to my wardrobe with my arms out and expect to go through to another world. I did it nearly everyday and I was always disappointed when there was nothing there but the back of my wardrobe!

When I was 11 and my brother moved out his room was converted to a storage room. I used to like to hang out there, and since I had no friends to hang out with, I would hang out there with my cats. Well, in the closet there was a little hole in the wall that I barely paid any attention to until my cat started scratching at it. From then on my vivid imagination made me think that that hole led to a path which led to another secret world. And when I brought my cat in there I hoped that he would scratch the hole open, opening the door to the other world.

I always had and still do have a vivid imagination.

When i was about 6 i belived that there was monsters in your closet because off this tv show i had saw. It said that the only way to not be tooken in the closet was to hold on to the door. So every time i went into my closet since i was 7 to 15 I held on to my closet door. Now i think about how hillarious it is.

I saw a vampire "documentary" I guess you could say on TV when I was younger once, and believed for the longest time that if I didn't have my covers all the way up to my chin, then vampires would come out of my closet and bite my neck. I have just started to force myself to push my blankets down at night, but I still shut my closet door, and it's been over a decade since I used to believe that.

I still check my closet at night before I go to bed because my sister once told me that the one night that I didn't check then that would be the night that someone or something would be in there... and I don't want to take that chance!!

I can remember believing that bears were hiding in my closet, under my bed and in my dresser drawers. I used to rock the bed when trying to sleep. One night I must have rocked too hard and a glass figure got knocked off and broken. I was terrified, absolutely positive the bears did it and were waiting for me to get up so they could eat me.

In first grade, my friend told me at her grandma's house there was a cut off hand that lived in her closet and that it was her boyfriend. She continued to tell me that everybody had a hand that lived in their closet and soon it would be my boyfriend. I came home crying and telling my mom I didn't want a boyfriend to live in my closet!

When I was probably about 5-6 years old. My brother and sister, and I would play in the closet. It was a small closet, so we were able to climb the walls. So, we would climb up to the top, and sit on the shelf. Well, there was a big, rectangular, crack in the wall. We thought that inside the wall, was a secret playhouse. We would take a butterknife and try to open it up. So, we asked my dad about it, and he told us what it really was..which kind of crushed our dreams.

When I was younger my older sister (5 yrs older) told me that their was an evil stuffed animal stealer living in my closet so every night I before I went to bed I used to take all my stuff animals and hide them under my covers and hold them all so the evil stuffed animal stealer would not take them. I believed this for like 2 yrs needless to say I didnt get alot of sleep (their were a lot of stuffed animals to hide)

When I was ten, I liked to think that there were shmozits living in my closet. Shmozits are creatures that I made up that have the head of a tapir, the tail of a fish, the wings of a bat and long, bushy fur on their stomaches and backs. Oh yeah, and they'd live in your closet. Their diet consists of fish and clothing. The sounds they would make would sound exactly like that of a harmonica.

When I was about 6-12yrs. old I watched a freddy kruger movie and stayed up until 2am watching the news because I was scared! Finally I was really tired and decided to go to the bathroom b4 going to bed and looked up from my bed toward my door(and closet) I saw freddy kruger peeking out of my closet!! I freaked out grabbed my stuffed bunny rabbit told him I loved him for being so brave and threw him in the closet as I ran out of my room crying!! I went to my mom's room woke her up and was crying about how thumper was a brave bunny and how we had to leave!! All and all i'm still scared to sleep with a walk-in closet nearby esp. if the door is open!! I still make my b/f sleep next to the closet (i'm 19 by the way)
