I thought the Virgin Mary appeared in my bathroom mirror -- curious, because there were no Catholics in a 2-mile radius of my house. It had two eyes, a mouth, and even some hairs! I videotaped it and freaked out everyone.
I used to beleive that my parents had put cameras behind my mirrors so that they could catch me being naughty! lol i never got dressed in front of mirrors or did anything bad in front of them because i thought my parents would see!
when i was about 3 or 4 my sister would tell me if u go in the bathroom with the lights off look in the mirror spin around 3 times and say candyman candyman a face would appear in the mirror and scratch ur face up.
When we were small, I convienced my little brother that our reflections in the mirror were our exact opposites and that they were all evil. His name is Sal so I told him that his reflection was named Las and that Las was an evil demon who would do him harm if he ever did anything to make him angry. A few weeks later we went on vacation and our hotel room had an entire wall that was one big mirror. Poor Sal was petrified and when my mom found out why she made me tell him the truth. However, I think he still believed that reflections were evil for sometime after that since I did see him run really fast past mirrors a few times after that.
i used to believe that my reflection in the mirror was another person who looked like me and did the same things as me
Our next door neighbour told us if you looked in a mirror after midnight you would see the devil!
I used to believe that there were whole other worlds on the insides of mirrors and that when I looked into them, I was just catching a glimpse of another universe. The girl in the mirror and I just happened to look at each other at the exact same time and wear the same clothing, but our lives were otherwise fairly different.
The flip side to this were reflections in glass. Especially at night, I always thought I'd be able to see ghosts in them if I just looked long enough.
When I was about 7 I stared at my reflection for minutes to see if it would jump out and try to scare me.
Another time I tried to have a staring contest with my reflection. Soon I found out it always ended in a tie.
I think that if you look in the mirror and then you turn around again really fast then you will see your self with the scarest face ever
When I was little, there was a huge mirror reflecting the staircase of my aunt and uncle's house. Well, everytime we were over there, Grandpa would walk up the stairs and his reflection would show in the mirror. I was shocked and amazed because I thought Grandpa was in the mirror! I thought there was a secret entrance that I didn't know about and that when I got as old as Grandpa I would be told about it or found it.
I remember the first time that I looked in a mirror and realized, "Hey, that's what I look like!"
When I was a child I was afraid of mirrors, I believed that would appear a monster and kill me
i used to (and still do!) think that when i looked in the mirror, i would see me and some ghost, but when i look behind me, the ghost won't be there. I thought that the ghost would just come closer and closer until i die
i used to believe that at night if you looked into a mirror to long that a dead person would apear in the mirror.
until i looked in to the mirror one night and did not see a dead man!?
I used to believed the one inside the small oval mirror was my twin sister. She share everything with me, happiness, sadness, loneliness and jealousy.
One day I looked too pale in front of the mirror. I tried to put on much more cosmetic with thicker eyeline & redder lipstick. Oh ! I was scolding and teasing myself with tears,"How come you're so ugly today?? Damn you!!" when I carelessly pushed the mirror to floor and then it's broken.
After that, I found the one inside any mirror wasn't me or my twin sister inside the broken oval mirror. My eyes inside the mirror was so strange, They were icy, sad and full of hatred.
Aiya...now I was only 25, how come others felt I was over 30?! I got much older after lose of my twin sister...
When I was young, I used to watch horror movies that came on Saturday afternoons, or occasionally Friday nights if I could stay awake that long. One of them had a woman look into a mirror and and evil witch/demon/whatever looked back at her (can't recall the details). Thirty-something years later, I still refuse to look into a mirror at night because it creeps me out! Oddly enough, though, I never fell prey to the "Bloody Mary" tale, nor do I remember believing there was another world on the other side of my mirror.
I used to beleive that if I stuck my hand on a mirror the other side would grab my hand and twist it backwards!
i thot when i was a kid bloody mary was real.
WhEN I WAS YOUNG I THOUGHT THAT A HUGE MONSTER WAS GOIGN TO JUMP OUT THE MIRROR IN THE BATHROOM AND MARRY ME !!!
I used to believe that I didn't look like I
did in the mirror it was something fake the
world was all in on and I would try to beat the person in the mirror(which was me lol)
