when my parents would leave me home alone with my brother, and i did something bad, he used to tell me my mom and dad installed cameras in the mirrors to watch me breaking the rules.
i became the best child ever after that.

I use to always believe that my reflection wasn't my own.I believed that any pictures of me, weren't really me either. I thought the whole world was keeping me from really seeing myself. So I got mad when ever someone said you have such nice red hair and green eyes, cause I seriously thought that that wasn't what I looked like.It took quite sometime for my family to get me to believe!lol!

I used to be afraid of placing mirrors on the floor because I thought you could accidently fall into the hole it seemed produce.

When I was like 6, I used to look at myself in the mirror , and wonder if the mirror was "lying" to me, and if that was really what I looked like. So almost every time I would my mom what I looked like, every time she said the same thing- short w/brown hair, round cute nose, brown eyes, and lots of freckles. For some reason I never believed her though, and i thought she was just on the mirror "SIDE" so every time I passed the mirror I yelled LIAR. I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS LIKE DIFFERENT LOOKING!

I was a strange child- LOL

i used to believe that my mirror reflectoin was my twin and thats why some people had twins, because their reflection had gotten out. i used to always try to pull the my reflection out of the mirror.

When I was about 4 I remember using a mirror to see what I looked like with my eyes closed. Oddly enough I never could. : )

I used to believe that when you were standing in front of a mirror, there was a camera behind it that taped everything you did. I never undressed in front of a mirror and I would always end up talking to it. I sometimes still catch myself "putting on a show" for the camera behind the mirror.

When I was little I used to believe that mirrors were just portals to other dimensions and the other you was just blocking the path for you to get in.

I remember someone telling me that if you looked at yourself in the mirror, without blinking for a while, you would see yourself getting older and older! I had scary visions of my 3ft self being all bearded and wrinkly in my mr men pyjamas!!

When I was very young, I thought that mirrors were lying to me about how I looked (ie, I really had blue eyes instead of brown). I would get dressed up in different outfits and jump out in front of the mirror to try to trick it into showing me what I really looked like.

When I was a kid I loved the show "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (the live-action disney channel show). Alice walked through her mirror to get to Wonderland, and I remember I kept trying to walk through my mirror like she did! I was quite disappointed when I never worked!

When I was a kid, I was horribly afraid that vampires would come and suck my blood. Since they can't be seen in mirrors, I was afraid that when I stood in front of the bathroom mirror to brush my teeth, one would come and attack me. So, I always stand with my back to the wall (which is directly across from the mirror) so if one comes in, I can see him before he attacks. How that would help, I'm not sure but it did make me feel safer. :D

When I was little, I believed that there was a whole other world inside the mirror, but it was exactly like the one we lived in.

Everytime I left a mirror, I'd say goodbye to the person in the mirror who looked like me and wished them a nice day.

I used to believe that if I stared into a mirror long enough then I'd turn into someone else. That belief eventually evolved into me thinking that if I stared long enough I'd see what I'd look like as an adult.

whene I was 5 I used to think every one had a twin but they were stuck in there mirror and when I saw twins I figured if you break a mirror your twin would come out and I wanted a twin so I hit my mirror with a hammer

I used to believe that mirrors are doors to a world of opposite chirality, but we cannot cross it because our counterpart is also doing the same and both are pressing against each other.

I don't know where it came from, but I was always scared to wipe away the fog from the mirror when I got out of the shower. I thought either the guy in the mirror would be doing something different than me or it would be a skeleton. Mirrors still freak me out.

when i was little... i allways felt uneasy around mirrors... i was allways afraid of being in the bathroom, minding my own business, and then look into the mirror and see some demon or something standing behind me. and then it would grab me and slit my throught and eat my intestines or something like that.

I still believe that there is something wrong with mirrors. I used to believe that I could be faster than my reflection at the mirror so, I used to move really fast in front of mirrors, trying to cheat my image.
