When I was little I was convinced there was a monster under my bed. If I stepped down by my bed, then the monster would grab me, and that would be the end of me! Well, to avoid this, I kept a board by my bed, and when I had to get out of bed at night, I would set it up like a ramp so that I could climb out of bed without being next to the bed. This didn't last long, because I stole the board out of my daddy's shed, and he needed it for something.... but for a short while, I had protected myself!
i used to believe that a monster lived under my bed, so i would always take a flying leap to get on or off my bed. (from this i was able to run into my parents room and leap from the door to the bed...my parents were not amused..i was lol)

I used to believe that there was a herd of monsters under my bed when I was little.
The only way they could get me though was if I let a body part hang over the side of the bed, so every night I'd take a running jump onto my bed, and sleep smack in the middle.
God forbid I had to make a trip to the bathroom at some point, because I would attempt to leap clear across the room to my door, waking up everyone in the house.
I used to think that if I didn't sleep with the blankets pulled all the way up to my shoulders that some monster would get me. I'm 25 and even in the middle of the summer I still have to sleep like that.
When I was about 5 or 6 I always thought that there was something under the bed so I would always run and jump onto it so whatever it was couldn't get me. My bedroom was in the top part of our house (where the ceiling sloped down. As i was going to bed I ran and jumped and cracked my head off the ceiling. My parents took me to the hospital (I had a minor concussion) and when they asked me why I did this all I could say was that I had to get away from the thing under my bed. >.<
top belief!
When I was a kid I used to believe in the monsters under my bed. I thought I would be smarter than them and place my bed directly on the floor. I still have my bed that way at 24.
i used to think that at night a monster went under your bed and if you were standing next to the bed he would grab your legs pull you under the bed and eat you so when i needed to get out of bed at night i would jump over my bed and run
When I was small, I always thought that under the bed has monsters. And I always scare to sleep my self.
When I was little I used to be scared that monsters would come out from under my bed. It all started after watching the movie, 'Little Monsters'. My mum was surprised I didn't try sawing the legs off all the beds!
I thought there was a monster under my bed. Typical. My belief was that when I got out of bed, if I didn't get far enough away from the bed, they or it could reach out and grab my feet or ankles and "get me". So, this led to me getting up and leaping as far as I could out into the middle of the room in order to be safe. The mornings weren't so bad, but getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom was a cause for much stress. I also took a running start to leap and get in to bed lest I get seized then as well. I had a very active imagination.
I know this is an old one. But I believed a monster lived under my bed. I would turn the lights off and take two steps sailing into my bed before the thing could grab me. I liked to sleep with my arm over the side of the bed, but I would not dare hang my arm over the bed unless my brother would" exactly at the same time"
I used to believe that when you turned off the lights in your room that the little monsters under the bed would eat your feet if you didn't get into bed fast enough. I was always first into bed, the only problem is sometimes it comes back, I'm 23 now.
I used to believe that there was a monster under my bed. I thought that after the lights were out if i let my legs or arms off the bed the monster would pull me under and eat me!
I used to believe monsters lived under my bed. For the longest time, I would take a running start and jump into bed. I thought if I didn't do that, the monsters would pull me under my my ankles.
When I was young, my brother convinced me that monsters lived under my bed. To this day, I cannot sleep if a part of my body is over the edge of the mattress as the monster living under my bed will grab that part and pull me under...I'm married with children.
I believed in the "monster under the bed" for too many years. In fact, I quit jumping into the bed from the doorway when my husband wasn't in it after I had kids. I didn't want to scare them and make them weird! In fact, I think I still believe, a little bit, that they are still there. I'm 63 now.
