When I was little, I used to have to stand in my doorway to turn off the light, and as soon as the light was off, I would leap into bed. Everyone knows that if you don't do that, something under your bed would grab your legs! After you jump into bed, you have to cover up really really quick!
When I was about 5 or 6 I always thought that there was something under the bed so I would always run and jump onto it so whatever it was couldn't get me. My bedroom was in the top part of our house (where the ceiling sloped down. As i was going to bed I ran and jumped and cracked my head off the ceiling. My parents took me to the hospital (I had a minor concussion) and when they asked me why I did this all I could say was that I had to get away from the thing under my bed. >.<
I used to think that if I didn't sleep with the blankets pulled all the way up to my shoulders that some monster would get me. I'm 25 and even in the middle of the summer I still have to sleep like that.
When I was younger I couldn\'t sleep with my limbs hanging over the edge of the bed because a big slimy green worm called a creeper would pull me off the bed and take me away. If my arms and legs were inside the bed I was safe.
Until I was 9 or 10 years old, when I went into my room to sleep at night, I would run in and make a flying leap from the bedroom door onto my bed (I had a small room), because I thought if I walked in and let my feet get too close to the bed, something would grab me from underneath it.
i used to believe that monsters lived under my bed.so everytime i went to bed, i ran and jumped onto it.
When I was little, I thought that there were monsters or something like that under my bed. The only way that I wouldn't be afraid to move was if I made up something that I do that would make the monster not come out. Like if I,ve ever blinked before I'd be safe!
late at night i would be scared to come in my room and get on the bed so i would jump quickly on the bed so the monster under the bed wouldnt gab and pull me under
i used to think that there was this scary witch under my bed, and that she could reach up over the headboard and snatch my head while i was sleeping. i would scoot as far down into my bed as possible, hoping that her arms wouldn't be able to reach...
i also thought that the "shadowy figure" from the Barbie Detective computer games slept on the top bunk of my bunk bed (i slept on the bottom). i wasn't really scared, because i knew he woulnd't hurt me, he just wanted a place to sleep at night...
i was a weird kid.
There was always the thing of how there was a monster is under your bed among my primary years. My logic was that if the monster really was there, then if I slept under the bed, it would have to move out, and in result not "getting" me.
i used to believe that there are monster who will eat you under your bed if you don't pray before you sleep.
when i was younger i watched this movie on Disney called "Don't Look Under the Bed" and it was about the Boogie man and i thought it was real. So every night I would turn out my light and literally jump in my bed and sleep as close to the wall as i possiably could. When I had to clean under m y bed it had to be in the daytime. And to this day, and I'm 15, i hurry to get in my bed and i never look under there at night unless the light is on.
I used to believe there was a big fierce gorilla under my bed at night. When I came into my room, I would turn off the light and jump into the top bunk as soon as possible, breathing a sigh of relief that the gorilla didn't get me.
I used to believe that there were monsters under my bed and if i got out
of bed they would grab my feet and pull me under the bed.
when i was little i was afraid to let any part of my body or blankets hang over the side of the bed, thinking that something would grab it and drag it under the bed. i'm much older now, and i still won't dangle any part of my body over the side of the bed.
when i was little, i believed there were invisible monsters under my bed. the only way they would not eat me if i was covered with a blanket. to this day i still sleep completely covered up.
i use to believe that as soon as i would turn off the light in my bedroom that the monsters would be able to come out and get me, so i use toquickly turn off the light and run and jump into the bed making sure no part of me came close to the edges
there was always a monster under my bed when i was little (well so i thought) but one dayi was so brave and poke my head down to check if there really was a monster there and when i finally got the gutz to do so there was no monster! i checked another time and again no monster. i was so proud of myself for facing my fears and never thought of the monster ever again.
When I was little, I never thought there was a boogyman or ghost under my bed. Instead, there was an evil penguin. I used to try to talk my mom into letting me sleep in the livingroom. When asked why, I would always scream about the penguin.
now i love penguins!
I used to belief that the monsters under the bed would eat me if any part of my body, except for my head, poked out from under the blanket. It was terrifying when I needed to turn the bedside lamp on, I had to do it quickly or the monsters would get me. But as soon as the light was on the monsters would disappear.
