biting my nails

My mom told me people who bit their nails became ugly. I thought my looks would change, that I would grow a hiddeus nose or something. I did not understand that she meant my hands would look ugly if i contined chewing my nails

when i was 6 or 7, i used to bite my nails. so one day my sister told me that a nail-tree would grow inside my stomach..! needless to say i believed her and stopped at once

When I was about 4, my mum told me that her dad bit his nails when he was a kid and that, after a while, they just gave up growing and never were a normal length again. It certainly stopped me from biting my nails, but it only occurred to me TODAY that it might not be true, so I googled it. If only I could say I was still relatively young or really dumb... but no, I'm a straight-A student in my GCSE year. If only I had been more cynical and disbelieving as a child...

My siblings used to tell me that I bit my nails, I would get huge squirrel/rabbit teeth. it backfired bc my teeth were short and small, so i wanted bigger ones. HAHAHAAA

i used to belive that if you bite your nails,they would start growing and by the time they tuned into a finger,they would turn into bad fingers that would pick other people's noses.

when i was young i was told by my headteacher in an assembly that our nails had snakes eggs in tem and when you bite your nails they hatch inside you. i cried that night thinking that there was sakes inside me,my mother contacted the department of education and the headteacher got an official warning. the heads name was Mr.Nutter

when i was about 5 or i stared to bite my nails, my mother told me that if i kept biting them i would bite my fiers off, well i was watching a telivision show and the doctor had said "that this man has bitten his fingers off to the bone." since then, i have stopped biting my nails.

Well one summer my Uncle came to visit, and while i was sitting on the couch in the living room one night, i was biting my nails, my uncle walked in and told me that if i didnt stop biting my nails, that when i did they would turn out like his. Then he held his hand up, and it was the sickest thing i had ever seen, the fingernail on his right hand was all black and falling off. And for six years i went believing that him biting his fingernails made them look the way they did. Well my mom told me that he got frostbite and then his finger got run over by a tractor. So its all cool!!
