I thought that secondhand smoke was when a homeless person picked a cigarette butt up off the ground and relit it.
My siblings used to tell me that I bit my nails, I would get huge squirrel/rabbit teeth. it backfired bc my teeth were short and small, so i wanted bigger ones. HAHAHAAA
My older sister really hated it when I sucked my thumb, so she told me that if I kept sucking my thumb way past babyhood, the bad guys from "The Godfather" would break into my room and kill me when I sleep. I never sucked my thumb ever again!
When I was 5 and an adult I knew would get drunk or smoke, my Mom showed me a video to make sure I wouldn't do it when I was older, and the video showed that this weird black stuff accumulated in the lungs of someone who smokes. I thought it was a sludge monster, and that it was going to come alive out of the vial they had it in and eat her, and I thought alcohol was some kind of special drink that made you happy, but if you were greedy and wanted to much happiness, it would make you sleep so that you wouldn't be happy at all.
Safe to say I was a weird kid
I used to believe human mucus was healthy to ingest because it was gross, logically stemming from vegetables being gross, which I got from some tv shows.
When i was a child, i was biting my nails and my mother said if i continue biting my nails, there will be nail tree in my chest.
I used to bite my nails when I was a child but my brother told me if kept doing that, I couldn't play the guitar because nobody could learn how to play it withouht long nails on the right hand. That's how I stopped this bad habit. Thanks to my older brother. :)
When I was little I was used to picking my nose but one day my mom told me that every time I pick my nose I'm touching my brain and I always believed that if I put a pencil in my nose I could touch my brain.
