When I about 3 or 4, I saw a box of cigarettes and my grandma told me they were cigarettes. I misheard it as 'piglets'.


When I was 5 or 6, maybe 7, there was a smoldering cigarette in the bathroom and I went near it, and I freaked out and thought I was going to die just becuase I went near it.

A friend of mine used to believe that smoke stacks were there so that smokers could crawl up them to smoke. She figured they were all standing on the shoulders of the person below them.

i used to think smoking (i was 4 at the time) made a girl become pregnant. all the cousins that i have that had kids all smoked, and i didnt know of any males that smoked until much later, like maybe 8.

I could never understand why people stubbed out their cigarettes when only the white bit was left.(I didn't know that it was not filled with tobacco; but was a filter instead) I thought it was a waste.

One day when I was about 4 or 5, I was over my grandparents house and my gradmother was smoking. I confidently told her that she was doing it the wrong way. She looked curiously at her ciragrette and then at me and asked me what she was doing wrong. I then proceeded to grab the vigarette out of her hand and try to stick the lit end in my mouth, saying "You do it like this!"

Luckily, she grabbed it out of my hand in time.

When my daughter was 4 she saw a men smoking while shoping with her mum. She was very confused because I (her father) was a non smoker and her mother smoked, so she believed that only women are smoking.

I used to believe that cigarettes came in different flavors, but people had to lick them to taste it. I also believed that you blew into a cigarette instead of breathing in.

when i was younger I belived that if you touched a used cigerette 3 times that you would get a disease. I don't know why buy I stayed well away from cigerettes anyway
