When I was younger I asked my parents could I play with my neighbours but they said no they have chicken pox. My response was, mm sounds yummy can I have some? Yep I thought it was food.

I used to believe that being an organ donor meant that you had to be alive in order to donate. I wondered why people would give up their heart or their liver when they needed those things themselves to live!

i used to think that after you got out of the hospital, like from having surgery, or being sick or whatever, that it changed the way you looked. this is because i used to watch the tv show Rescue 911, and there would be actors who would reenact the the accidents, and then afterwards the real person who had the accident would talk about it. i figured out it wasn't true in 3rd grade when i broke my arm and had to go to the hospital, and came out looking the same.

when i was little my mum used to tell me that if i cuddled a teddy i had (called pooly bear)when i was ill i would get better because he ate all the germs while i was asleep so i went to sleep quickly.

When I was about 6, I came down with a kidney infection. As anyone who knows about that, they perform a urinalysis to determine the problem. As a 6-year-old, the word "urine" wasn't a part of my vocabulary yet so I thought they were saying "your analysis"! After all, they were analyzing ME. :)

When I first heard the term "chicken POX", I was convinced that it was "chicken POKES". I thought it was a deadly disease that you got if you poked chickens.

I use to believe that hand foot and mouth was when you had your foot stuck in your mouth and you couldn't use your hands to get your foot out of your mouth. Then I heard my cousin had hand foot and mouth and that he couldn't come over and play because I would catch it so I asked my mom if he could send me a picture of him while he was sick.

When I was little I used to eat a type of flower as my friend told me they were good for me (what a friend!) They instead made me sick. I thought if I kept eating the 'good for me flower' I would get better but instead I got worse.

When I was little, I was deathly afraid of the hospital. so one night, i broke my finger. when my mom said we would have to go to the hospital. I begged and cried, and said I felt better. the only way my sisters could convince me to go there was saying that Rachel from Friends was there, having a baby. so i always thought that in a hospital, tv personalities were having there babies at my hospital. After all, Mel Gibson and Pee Wee Hermon were born there.
