When I was little my grandfather told me that if I didn't stick my tongue in the spot where my tooth was pulled it would grow in as a gold tooth. I was always disappointed because I never grew in a gold tooth. I also never could keep my tongue out of there!

One time I had many goosebumps on my back and I was eating to much chicken and my mom had told me I was growing feathers.! After 1 week of me cryin she had finally told me it was a joke(:

When I was little I asked my mom "How do hiccups work?" She said "It's your lungs expanding." I took this to mean "It's your lungs getting bigger." I thought that when you were hiccuping, it meant you were getting bigger.

I thought it was impossible for anyone to lift more than their own body weight. Just seemed to make sense..
Someone once told me that if you kept your eyes open while you sneezed your eyes would pop out. After that my parents always saw me making the craziest faces trying to keep my eyes open while I sneezed.

My mother used to say every morning that she had to " go put her face on" meaning her makeup. One day I asked her that if she was going to put on her face then what was that on her head!

Until I was around 8 or 9 years old, I thought dentists took your teeth out and replaced them with new teeth.
When I was really little I used to believe that little mice would eat the food in my stomach and operate all the things inside of me. NO idea why

I used to believe that you could literally waste your breath. If you talked too much, someday you would just run out of air and die.
When i was little i always thought that when you went to sleep you didn't breathe. Once, i was watching tv, and my mom fell asleep on the couch, i heard her breathing, looked at her, saw she was asleep and totally freaked out. At first i thought she was just pretending to sleep :D
When I was very young, a sinus problem made it so I often heard my heartbeat in my ears. I always feared that what I was hearing was the footsteps of Big Foot coming to get me. I'd lie under my covers scared to death every night.
I used to believe that if you were to suck your blood whenever you had a cut that it would go back into your system and you would never lose it like you would by soaking it up with a napkin.
My best friend Maggie's dad told her that if she ate bread crusts it would help her learn to whistle. She told me. So we would eat everyone else's bread crusts at lunch. I didn't like the bread crust much, but I ate it thinking it would help me whistle until I was way too old.. Like 13.
I used to think that people cried different color tears because I saw my aunt crying and her brown mascara was running and my sister told me it was because people cried different color tears, and I was boring because my tears were clear!
For a large part of my life growing up, i constantly had little aches in my arms and legs, i asked my mom why they hurt, she told me that they were groin pains. this went on for years, till one day i asked what she ment by groin pain. I have never seen her laugh so hard in her life, she told me after she caught her breath that they werent groin pains, but gro"WING" pains.

I used to belief that i was a lefty because my heart was on the left side, and that people who where right handed had their heart on the right side
I use to believe that oompa loompas were inside our bodies making it function, i.e. pumping the heart and digesting our food
At age 5 my babysitter told me that me that my insides would collape if I sneezed and farted at the same time.
I used to believe that the space left behind when you lost a tooth was much like a black hole, and that if I stuck my tongue to far into the little hole my tongue would get sucked up by my head and I would never have it again.
