When I was in bed at night, I would rest my head on my arm, and hear the blood pumping. I thought I was hearing the steps of a giant coming towards me, and I wondered what the hell he wanted with me, but I was looking forward to meet him!

I used to think men were not allowed to cry. Especially Native American men for some reason (it may have had something to do with the sternness of Kokoum in Pochahontas). When my younger brother would cry I would tell him this and he would try to stop because he wanted to be a man.

I used to not know that it was possible to breathe out of your nose until I was around 5, and I always thought my brother was just holding his breath for a really long time when he had his mouth closed.

When I was young and I sneezed but no one said 'bless you' and would quickly say 'Blessyoume' to bless myself.
I didn't realise that the saying 'Blessyoume' made no sense until I was 17 and my mum laughed at me for saying it.

I used to believe that when my foot fell asleep there were ants crawling up and down under my skin. I still call it "ants" whenever anything on me falls asleep.

When i was young, my brother told me that if I wanted to learn to wissle, I had to sit on the toilet and eat Dutch crisp bakes (rusks), and then try it, so I did.....you're mouth is so dry then, that it will never happen, but that i figured out a few days later...well, he also made me belief that you can actually eat soap....so I did...it was terrible, even with cleaning your mouth afterwards...with water!

I am a synaesthetic, meaning that I have extreme sense-mesh in which I mentally can do things like feel colours and see sounds. I assumed everyone else was like this as well, until I was about 13 or so.

I remember when I was 4yrs old, I woke up with pins and needles in one foot.

When my mum came into my bedroom I complained that crabs were at the bottom of my bed, pinching my toes!

She had to pull the bedding off to show me there wasnt any.

When I was very young my nan used to tell me that if I didn't put my hand over my mouth whilst yawning the devil would get inside me! And to this day I still think that, whenever I yawn!!!

I thought there were m&ms inside my body that worked much like cells, except for me to grow they stood on ladders and painted new skin from the inside. I guess the old skin would come off and I would somehow be bigger.

I have a big broter. I was told a lot of things about the world which of course I had no doubt was true. My brother was older than me. I used to belive that it was dangerous to remove the lint that gathers in my bellybutton. I also have dimples on my thighs.:)

when i was a little my father told my that when you stare at people with your mouth open to be careful because a fly might fly into your mouth. I still do it as an adult because some people surprise and confuse me. It an awful expression although it shows exactly what your thinking.
