After Hearing About Someone Dying In Their Sleep When I Was 5, I Began To Believe That If I Went To Sleep, I Might Forget How To Wake Up And Die While I Was Asleep.
I used to believe that if you had a good dream, it would come true later on in your life but the bad part is that right after it came true, your worst nightmare would come to you with a hammer blow!
I used to believe that when i went to sleep i would be in a different world and when i woke up the things i would have bought would be there with me but sadly to my disappointment, they never were!
I used to believe that if you wore your socks at night when you slept, your feet would fall off.
I used to believe that my dreams were a diferent world that I would go to every night, but people just would´t let me remenber it clearly when I was awake to keep me from liking the other world better.
When I was little my daddy told me that if I didn't go to sleep there was a man called the Sand Man that would come around and throw sand in my eyes, mouth and nose until i go to sleep
When i was younger i watched an episode of the x-files where the guy fell asleep and when he woke up he was in some hospital with no arms or legs. So i thought if i didnt cover my my arms and legs completly with my quilt at night the same thing would happen to me.
I used to believe that we could be in a coma and none of this was real. No Earth, no me, no families, no friends, no significant others, no animals, no plants, not anything. And when we woke up we were something else. We grieved for the family that never was and try to get away from the real family. But we die within a week of waking up. (I was and still am strange)
When I was a child I believe that if you sleep with your hands in your chest, you have bad dreams.
I used to believe that if I open the door at night one demon with one stick would hit my head, and take me to one cabin and kill me.
I used to believe that if i didn't go to sleep before midnight the bogeyman would come and get me!
When I was little I used to believe that when you fell asleep you would forget everything you did that day. I don't know how this was possible but I remember trying to remember things to prevent me forgetting them before drifting of.
when i was 6 i believed that when i went to sleep under my bed my duvet cover would suficate me and strangle me until i was dead.so for 2 years i slept on the floor worrying that my duvet cover would attack me
When I was little, I thought that my dreams were partially in the realm of reality. When my dreams ended with me falling, I would wake up and feel the sensation of falling into my bed.
I used to believe that if u dreamt of somethin more than once it would come true, this really freaked me out cos i just had recurring dreams of my school bus crashing and every1 died. When the bus did crash " which scared me completley" i screamed really loud and cried but we had only cliped the back of a car. i was a ashamed to got back on the bus lol
my mom believes that one should never fall asleep around 6pm. thats coz only witches sleep those hours. so when i was little if i ever fall asleep i used watch my face in mirror and make sure that i didnt tranform into a scary witch .....
When I was about 6 or 7, I didn't know anyone else in the world went to sleep but me. (Weird, i know) So one night, I woke up and walked into the dining room and stood there, baffled, because no one was sitting there like they usually are when I go to sleep. So, I (for some weird reason) went outside, and played with some frogs. Then I went back inside and fell back asleep in my bed. No one had any idea.
You dont breath while your sleeping!
I thought one couldn't (shouldn't?) pull one's blanket up past one's belly-button. So, I was cold from my belly up, until my mom told me otherwise.
