top belief!
My friend and I used to believe that if we slept with our heads together, we would share the same dream. lol. We would always do it during sleepovers.
top belief!
When I was like 3 or 4 i thought that by putting stick glue on my hands and feet I could crawl up the wall like Spider-man.. I tried but unfortunetly it didnt work.. There's still hand prints on that wall from the glue :-)
when i was about o lets say like 6 or 7 i saw matilda the movie for the first time and i thought i could be like matilda if only i could read as many books as she did
i used to have vivid dreams of being a bat and being able to fly. i thought that if i could just wake up before i was totally awake (and thus human) i would be able to "remember" how to fly. For quite a while I would wake up early in the morning and jump down a very steep flight of stairs. My parents never knew what was going on because i was only 3 and couldn't explain.
i used to believe that when mom are dad touched me they could tell what i was thinking and still sorta do even @age 12

When i was about four i believed that wearing a batman costume made you able to fly. I thought this until i was about 6 when i dressed up as Batman, climbed a tree and jumped out of it trying to fly. I landed on the ground and broke my arm.
Peter Pan used to be my favourite movie in the whole world. I used to believe that people can really fly if they just think happy thoughts. I tried thinking happy thoughts as hard as I could, but it didn't work. When my mom finally told me that Peter Pan was just a movie and people can't really fly, I cried and cried for a very long time.
I used to believe your sternum protected your soul while you were alive, which looked kind of like a really bright yellow/white glowstick. I still sort of cling to that one, and I'm 26.
When i was little i was sure i could see better then everyone else and see really far away, later in my life, I got glasses LOL
When my brother, sister and I were little kids, my parents had friends of theirs who lived in England come to visit us. After that, whenever my sister would get upset and cry, my brother and I would tell my sister that if she kept crying that would make our friends in England cry. For some reason she always stopped crying, but I could never figure out why they would cry if she did.
In 2nd grade (mummbldy moons ago) I wished with all my might to be able to see the Space Shots for REAL! Six months later we had moved to Florida and were living so close we could watch from the back yard. The ground shook and the windows rattled.
Never mind that my father was an Aerospace Engineer, I was conviced that it was all due to my wishing. I was VERY careful after that to only use my powers for Good!

I used to believe that I could breathe underwater. Because of this I didn't learn how to swim properly until I was seven. Every time I went in the water, I would try to breathe, and then I would have to come back out because I was choking on water. I didn't understand what was wrong until I went to British Columbia to visit my aunt. We went swimming, and when she realized I was trying to breathe underwater, she just said "Try holding your breath, you can't breathe underwater." and I was like "Oh, really?" So I tried, and when I realized how easy it was to swim when I wasn't trying to breathe water, I felt royally stupid. lol.

From Kindergarden until some time on I always dreamnt I could fly. I'd get my dreams mixed up with real life and I thought I could just run for a little while, then jump into the air, and flap around as if I were swimming in the sky. I probably believed I could do it until the end of Elementary school:-P.
about 3 years ago, when I saw a movie with people who had special powers, I though I had powers too!
i used to think that people had super powers and i didn't . so i thought everyone could read eachothers mind. everytime i would think about something i would always make sure thee were no adults in the room . i then later figurered out i was wrong, i thought this until i was 12 years old........whoa......talk about being stupid
While sleeping, if you hold someone, they can read your thoughts. While sleeping with my mum sometimes, i used to actually move an inch away and leave her hand just to make sure she could not read my mind.
I was told, when I was 5 that the dust on a butterfly's wing is what helped it to fly. I thought that if I collected enough butterflies, I would have enough dust to put on my arms and I could fly too.
I used to think that if I was swinging on a swing fast enough, I could jump off it and start flying.

I used to think that grown-ups could read the minds of children and that once u reached a certain age u would be able to read the minds of those younger than you.. it caused many problems.
I am 16 now, but I remember clearly when I was about 4/5 years old and I was absoloutely convinced I could fly like a bird. I constantly tried out ways of testing my thought, e.g. running in my room and jumping, and it seemed to really work (!) until one day my mum was in the garden and I was so thoroughly convinced I could fly that I jumped from the top step down about 5, never fell after using the rail to save myself, and LUCKILY only suffered carpet burns and a bruised arm.
