For some reason I used to believe that if I turned myself around 360 degrees that somehow the world would be different so I would try to correct myself if I accidentally turned in one spot too much

When I was little, I had a small change purse, and I was convinced that when I swam, breathing into in would let me breath underwater. Needless to say, it didn't work out a lot.

when i was a little boy, i remember thinking i was super magic. i used to have this black ghost-busters hat that i believed could turn 5 cent peices into like 25 lollies. the hat had a flap [neck protector] on the back, and my mother even sewed a pouch inside it so i could put the 5 cents in. i used to close the flap over the hat, and say abracadabra and everything. the then *BAM* there was the lollies. it was so exciting, until one day, it didn't work, and it hasnt worked since. but i still believe i was magic.

I was kept busy for a long time as a child in the effort to kiss my elbow. If you can do that (everyone knows...) you can change your gender.

My big brother who is only 18 months older convinced me when I was little that he had radar in his head so he alway knew where our parents were. So if we got lost I was never scared if i was with him because of his magic inteni which would pop out of his head and tell him where our parents were.

When I was about three or four years old, I believed I could shoot laser with my eyes. I would close my eyes, and squeeze them really close togehter. You know when you see that white flashing before your eyes? That was my laser. The worst is that my dad played along with me, so for years I thought I could shoot laser. I can't remember when I stopped believing - actually I just remembered some months ago :)

I used to belive that when I thought something (like going to Disneyland) my parents would know about it and take me or buy me whatever I thought of.
Gradually, as time passed, I noticed that my parents would not do whatever I think of.

When I was about 3 or 4 I thought that I could fly like the superheros on TV so I stood on the kitchen table and told my sister to look at me and next thing you know I'm in the air flapping my hands and Yelling "I can fly!" LOL...I ended up falling and had to go to the hospital to get 5 stitches in my chin.
Everytime I tell that story people make fun of me!!

I used to believe that if children weren't in bed by 7 o'clock, the wolf, the fox and the bear could come to your house and take you, even if you were hiding and/or your parents wanted to keep you.

I used to believe when I was younger that I could fly. I would jump off of high things and pretend like I was flying. One time I climbed up a tree nearby a bee's nest, they stung me and I fell and had to go to the hospital for a concussion. I didn't think I could fly anymore...

when I was about 3 or 4, I used to have dreams that I could fly down the stairs in my house. at that age I had trouble differenciating between dreams and reality. This led to a trip to the ER and 3 stitches in my head.

Whenever I heard stories about contortionists who could fit their whole body through a tennis racket, I always wondered how they managed to squeeze through all the little holes between the strings.
