I used to believe that there was someone in the world that could read my mind and tried to find out who it was. I would go to restuarants or other public places and see someone, wonder if it was them, and try to send them messages like "raise your hand if you hear me" through my mind to see if that was the person.

Me and my friend were watching this really annoying kid, and we told him if he ran fast enough he would turn invisible and could run through things. So he started running and ran into the couch, but we told him he just wasn't running fast enough.

I am 16 now, but I remember clearly when I was about 4/5 years old and I was absoloutely convinced I could fly like a bird. I constantly tried out ways of testing my thought, e.g. running in my room and jumping, and it seemed to really work (!) until one day my mum was in the garden and I was so thoroughly convinced I could fly that I jumped from the top step down about 5, never fell after using the rail to save myself, and LUCKILY only suffered carpet burns and a bruised arm.

when i was in about second grade our playground was set up for the big kids and the little kids. sometimes i would sneak into the big kid playground and go on the big swings. while doing this i got really high up and started thinking if i jumped off i could fly off back to my house. well as i got to the highest i could go i leaped off and landed right on my shins......my pants were torn off from the wood chips and i broke my ankle. so this is why...(see name)

When i was little i used to think that if i thought hard enough, i could move things using my mind.
because of that i would sit for hours trying to move the remote or pick up my clothes. it wouldn't ever work and i would just walk away dissapointed.

I used to believe that I could fly! I would run as fast as I could then jump. I had a dream about it once. I was running then I leapt into the air. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.

when i was a kid I used to believe that my mother always knew what i was thinking about. It was scary but then I thought that if she was able to do it, me too, but i would need to let time pass because I thought that this ability was developed with years of training.

When I was 5 yrs old, I believed that I could fly. I had a vivid memory (still do) of flying in my bedroom. I swore this tale was the truth until I was about 14 yrs old! I finally stopped telling it though. Now I'm not sure if I stopped believeing or I got tired of defending my story *wink* I still think of this memory from time to time and smile to myself.

Until my little cousin turned eight, she firmly believed that she could fly on her birthday. On her eight birthday, my cousin was going to prove this to her mother by flying off her bed. She broke her ankle.
