special powers

i started to believe that i had special powers when i was like 7.I believed that i could talk to my pets telepathiclly(and my pets talked back),that i could read people's minds,that i could pick up things with my mind and that i had other powers that i can't remember.
Talking to pets- when we would always come home from shopping or something there would be trash on the floor from the dog and my mom asked who did it.Then i'd ask the dog telepathiclly.the i would look at my mom and tell her that the dog said that bill(i tought that he was my dog's imaginary friend) did it.She would play along too.
reading people mind's- i started believeing this because i would finsh my mom's sentences before she did she always sadi i read her mind.
about picking up things with my mind i read it in some fanisty book for little kids i thought it was ture.People even told me i could but i didn't listen i always thought i could.
sorry enough to say that when i started 6th grade one of the teahcers sent mme to the guidence consular because they thought i had some porblems.Then the guidence consular had me tell the story about it then she told me i couldn't do any of those things(and that bill wasn't real). I had to go back every day(only about 2 1/2 weeks) until i finally stoped saying i could do those things.

when i was little,i used to believe i could fly, so I jumped off a bunkbed and hit the ceiling fan while it was on high. i had a big bruise

For a a while when I waas maybe seven or something I thought I could "communicate" with dogs.
A year and a half after getting over that (I got over it "speaking dog" when I was 8) I thought I was a werewolf and could accidentilly turn into at any moment.

when i was 4 or 5 i had a dream that i could make things float using my mind. i actually thought i could do this, but with extreme concentration and when no one was looking... yes i actually tried it,it didn't work :(

I used to believe that if you jumped off your bed and flapped your arms efficiently you had to be capable of achieving lift and could thoretically, yet briefly, sustain flight over your bedroom.

Unfortunatley, this only worked a few times in my dreams and the actual realtime simulation attemps accumulating around age 9 were unfortunately completely unsucessfull....I started exercising more after that because I calculated that I (my body) was the only possible reason my attempt at flight had failed this time...(next" part II - I did it - my room looks so big from up here! :> )

when i was about 3 or 4 my parents told me that i could turn on the light in the living room by telling it to. and so whenever i told the light to go on they would run into the other room and turn on the light.

In 2nd grade (mummbldy moons ago) I wished with all my might to be able to see the Space Shots for REAL! Six months later we had moved to Florida and were living so close we could watch from the back yard. The ground shook and the windows rattled.

Never mind that my father was an Aerospace Engineer, I was conviced that it was all due to my wishing. I was VERY careful after that to only use my powers for Good!

I used to believe that if I really wanted to, I could fly.I could just think about it real hard and it would come true. I guess you could call it some sort of "Peter Pan Complex". I would have dreams about it at night, and they seemed so real. I could fly to school, fly down the hall, anywhere! It was so exciting.

When I was in middle school, our school had signs next to each room with the room number. On these signs was the brail equivalent to the number. I asked my teacher how people who are blind know where to feel to find the signs. He replied the signs make a high pitch sound that only the blind can hear due to the fact that they have heighten hearing to make up for their lack of sight.

when i was little i used to belive that if you couldn't see someone they can't see you so when i was sneaking around and my mom or dad walked in i covered my eyes so the "couldn't see me".. then at preschool one time we were playing hide-and-go-seek an i would go in the middle of the feild and cover my eyes when people tagged me i thought they had just bumped into me and felt me.. i thought this till people began to tease me about me dumb hiding spots

I was convinced my Mom could see through floors and across miles as
she always seemed to know what the heck I was doing that wasn't right.
I was Fifteen and had gone upstairs to bed with a flashlight and comic
book being very careful to tuck the covers in tightly so nothing could be
seen. After ten minutes I heard my mom call my name from "downstairs."
I quickly turned out the flashlight and hid the book under the pillow, threw
the covers back and calmly answered "Yes Mamm", and from downstairs
she hollered up "Turn off the flashlight, put up the comic book and go to sleep"
All I could say was "Yes Mamm". Yeah I was convinced all my life.
