When I was little I believed that the magical-seeming abilities of adults --card tricks, memorizing directions to a strange place at one fast hearing, lifting heavy things, etc.-- all came from tests of inner will and self-discipline (though I didn't yet have those words, I had the concept). I believed that doing anything that was hard would make me better, not just at whatever it was, but at all things, and that the harder a thing was to do, the sooner I'd be able think really fast and tell long jokes properly and do all the other grownup things.
My mother taught me to read as I was learning to talk. When I was four or five I read about eclipses in a children's science book. It plainly said you should never look at the sun-- which intrigued me. Later, playing out in the alley, I gritted my teeth and held my eyes open with my fingers and stared at the sun for a predetermined count of ten. Then, after the spot went away enough so I could see to move around, I went in to where my mother and grandparents were and told them. I was so proud and they were so horrified. "Oh, no, honey! /Never/ look at the sun!" But it was right there, available.
When I was about 11 I thought that if I went in the forest I would find a fairy and she would give me wings,
steimei.
When I was 7 or 8 years old. I used to believe that... someday I'd be able to fry like Super man.
In case,I had often been practicing to fly in my mind.
I believed that I was Batman, the Red power ranger, that I could fly, resluting in a knee injury after 'flying' down the stairs.
As a child I used to believe that I am special. I covered one of my eyes and thought I can see through my hand.
When I was a child I over heard my grandmother talking about colored people.I use to think that there were a bunch of rainbow colored people running around. The "colored" people.
I used to believe that I could fly like Peter Pan. But I still do believe in fairies!!!
When I was young I had my sister convinced, for a little while, that I had magical powers and that if she didn't do what I told her to I would turn her into a frog.
I still believe that some people can read minds, so I try to be careful what I think around them. For the record, I'm twelve. :)
I used to believe that if you close your eyes you turn invisible. you know wut i mean. i cant see you then you cant see me.
When i was a kid i was so obsessed with Power rangers that every night before i went to sleep i believed that if i prayed to god too hard he would make me the WHITE RANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA Bad Guys Watch out!!!!!!! HERE I COOOOOOOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I was younger, I used to believe that I had super powers and Whatever I was doing, In the end ? I didn't have any injuries.
But one day, My sister and I played hide and seek. As I remember, I really wanted to win and I decided to hide near an opened window because It was summer and we were really warm. When my sister founf me I was really scared and I made an awkward movement and infortunaly I went through the window and I rolled on the rooftop.
Result of that fall, I went In the Hospital during 3 days because I had hip crack and my hand was broken.
Hello when I was young, I used to believe I could walk on the water. But the first of july I was with my cousin and he jumped in the swimming-pool but she drown but fortunately her parents came to help in time... I was reamlived for my cousin but I was really sad because about not walking on the water.
I remember being about 3 years old and going outside to play one very windy day. I jumped up into the air and recall having stayed there for what seemed to be an inordinate amount of time. I have never forgotten that moment. At age 41 swear it really happened. I still wonder why I was able to remain aloft just that one time. Was it that I was so light and simply was able to somehow catch the wind just right like a kite? Or, was my ability to use mind over matter just better honed at age 3 than it has been ever since?

when i was asleep i dreamnt about stuff that would happen....and when that happend i told myself 'hey...didnt i dream this?' i felt as though i did it before and then since i knew wat was gonna happen i would change it.... freaky hey?
about 3 years ago, when I saw a movie with people who had special powers, I though I had powers too!
Ok, so I'm not sure if this was a dream or not... but I clearly remeber when I was little that I could fly. I used to jump off of the old coffee table in my living room and flap my arms. I remeber jumping so far that it seemed like i was flying. I clearly remeber it like it actually happend, but it seems so unreal it must have been a dream...but to this day, I beleive that I used to beable to fly.
