i used to think flies, if they landed on your face, would crawl behind your eyeballs and lay eggs. i also thought that when you closed your eyes your eyeballs would roll all the way back into your head. and the squiggly lines you saw when they were closed were the little fly babies.

I used to think that when a laser got near your eye you would go blind and have do have surgery done on yourself in which someone would just cut you open and close you up,and that you would die shortly after.I thought this becuase of what a girl told me in Kindergarten (She was like in 4th.) I now have a phobia of lasers.

I used to believe that when you looked at something your eyeballs actually LEFT your head and went to the item you were looking at. I'd sit and watch the tv and close my eyes when someone would walk between me and the tv so that my eyes wouldn't bump into someone.

Until I was about 10, I was convinced that people put contact lenses into the back of their eyes.... I was stubborn and wouldn't listen to anything people told me... but now I wear contacts.. so obviously I know that they don't go in the back now!

When i was about 9, there was a girl i was friends with in the grade above me. After the summer holidays, a new girl came to our school and was in her grade. They both looked very similar with the same blonde hair, except this new girl had rather weird eyes, they were big and had dark circles.
Anyway, i thought this new girl was my friend and her eyes had changed because she'd watched too much tv during the holidays and had gotten square eyes!
