When I was a kid I heard my mom and dad say something about a but crack. I said "Do I have a but crack?" I asked, of course , they said yes! The I asked "does it hurt?"
my (then 24 year old) husband honestly believed that women do not have an adam's apple. after we had been together a few years, i made a reference to mine....you should have seen the look on his face!!! to this day, he refuses to touch my throat!
I used to think souls were actual organs. Kind of shaped like a big bean or kidney and located where the solar plexus would be. I think it was sort of a transparent blue neon color and just floated above your stomach.
i used to believe that my heart was actually in the shape of a heart but i found out that it wasnt
My uncle told me that if I didn't wash my ears when I took a bath, corn would start going out of them.

When I was a child I took a drink of water that dribbled down my chin a little. My grandfather looked over and said, "Looks like you have a hole in your lip, let me take a closer look. YEP, as I thought, you have a hole in your lip." For years until I was 11 or 12 truly believed that I had a hole somewhere around the corner of my mouth. I believed my mouth was deformed and couldn't close correctly.
i used to think that when you crossed your legs you would switch bodies with sum1 else...i dunno how i came to this conclusion...........
I remember learning the names of body parts, and being confused about my mouth. I thought it was called my "face". I had probably heard about "smiling faces" or "a smile on your face", and assumed that the part that does the smiling, with the lips and teeth, was called the face.
When I was 4 or 5, I had this idea that the soul was inside my chest, near my heart and was shaped like a bone (dog biscuit). "Grace" was like lettuce or a vine wrapped around it. If you were stained with sin, the bone was dirty and scuffed looking. If you were full of grace, the bone was covered in lush green vegetation/

When I was about four, I used to think everyone had a different amount of fingers. I was surprised to find that my parents had the same amount of fingers as me.
i used to belive that if you were in a room on your own then your soul will come out of your body, take all the fun out of you and then fly away with all the fun with him.I was about 7 or 8 when i thought the soul would come out of you and give you a game of chess, but he would always beat you,so the next time i tought i saw my soul i tried beatin it up with a firin pan but my dad came in so i hit him instead!
I used to think that the entire digestive system consisted simply of a straight tube that stretched directly from my mouth to my... ahem... bottom... for some strange reason I never even considered the connection with my... ahem... peepee...
When I was little I did and thought the stupidest thing ever! I was on a hammock and I rolled it up so I was literally sitting on a thick rope type thing. I kept being pushed backwards by the unstable fabric beneath me, but it didn't hurt, until I suddenly fell forward and hit my jaw hard against the floor. I smashed it so hard that I began to bleed and my mom was just cracking up because she "told me so." After I calmed down and the blood receeded a little, I asked my mom where my chin went and she told me that I still had it, and she gave me a mirror for me to see for myself, but I swore to her that the tip must still be in the living room! (I thought that it was like an egg and that I had cracked it) So I went back and spent the last 10 minutes and after returning from suturing, spent the next few days looking for the missing piece.

A teacher who was explaining evolution said, if we dont use something, eventually it will be gone. She used the pinky toe as an example, meaning it might be a vestige someday. My friend took it literally though, and proceeded to exercise her pinky toes for months so it wouldn't fall off.
When I was about 5 I banged my jaw while playing outside. I truly believed (and told everyone) that my jaw would be replaced with a wooden one becuase I had damaged it. I was very suprised when my mum told me an operation would not be necassary
When i was little, i asked my older sister why we swish our arms when we walk, she told me it was so our armpits can breathe. I believed her up until i was in junior high.
Once, when i was little, i was scared of the tendons in your arm because you can sometimes see them move. I asked my brother what they were called and he must have said tendons but i heard testicles. In school, we were doing a project to see if we would want to be a veterinarian. i said no, because i dont like testicles. my family never let me live that one down.
When I was around 4 or 5 yrs old I thought the metal buttons on the pocket corners of jeans were rivets, and couldn't understand how adults could walk around in them not being hurt by all the rivets that were screwed into their thighs and buttocks.
I used to believe that since people were filled with 3/4 water, it was dangerous to stand upside down because the water would rush to your head and possibly go in your lungs so you would drown. Years ago we found the book which pictured a little boy filled with water up to his shoulders and thats who I blame.
