When I was a little girl I used to believe that when someone died and went to Heaven, they would literally have to travel to the sky. After watching a lot of cartoons the most logical way as I could see it, was for someone to sit at the top of a tree that had been tied to the ground, and then somone would chop over the rope and the person would be flung up to Heaven like in the cartoons!

If I'd get a piece of crystal or wood and it would stick half way in my skin, my mom would try to get it out and tell me that if she didn't, it would go into my bloodstream and that it would reach my heart and kill me. I don't know if that's true or not but I ALWAYS take the sharp things out if they're stuck in my skin.

When i was a kid i thought that when you died, all your coughs and sneezes and hiccups were put into a large concrete box in the middle of the cemetary.
i have no idea why, but it made perfect sense at the time

When I was 7 years old my older brother said that I had a decise that when I turned 8 I would all of a sudden drop on the floor, shake and then die! The worsed thing was my birthday was in 4 days!!!!! The day before my birthday my brother came in to my room were I was saying good-bye to all my stuffed animals. Then he said" you should hurry up and write your will." asked him what a will was and he said that it was a letter that said what things you want to leave with the person who told you that you were going to die and what things you want to be baried with you. Then he went "WOW! I just noticed something!" "What?" I said "I'm the one who told you that you were going to die so I get all your stuff!!!" That night when my mom said that it was time for bed. I asked if I really had to go to bed sence it was my last day to live. She asked me what I was talking about and I told her the whole story. Then my mom and I played the same trick on him except he was going to die in 2 hours! Then I said that he better get writing his will and making his confesions. Then he finally blurted out "YOU AREN'T REALLY GOING TO DIE I JUST WANT YOUR GAME BOY!!!!!" (back then game boy's just came out.) Then we said he really wasn't going to die either!!!

I use to believe that on Halloween you shouldn't walk near or through cemetaries or you would see the souls of the dead floating above their graves. I thought that at midnight after all the kids were done trick or treating that all the evil beings would gather and have a meeting of how to cause chaos in there area that year

When I was little I tried "painting" my nails with markers, and my mom told me to stop, because if I kept doing that, I would get hurt and go to the hospital. I believed this until i was about 10, hehe.
