When I was a kid, I thought limes smelt or tasted like blood. Still like them as a candy flavour, though.

When I was very young when I saw each fruit or some product I thought that everything came from a plant, a cheese plant or things like that. It was very funny because later I learned that each product had its own origin. Or also that when the rainbow ended there was a pot of gold and it tried to find the end but as it was obvious it never succeeded.

When I was litle, I used to belive that saucisson was made out of pig's tail.

Let me explain : one night I had a dream in wich I was in a big supermarket with my parents and in an alley I saw a big pig statue and I asked : "What is saucisson made out of ?" and my mom just answerd me that it was pig's tail and trusted her ! Even though it was a dream I acually belived saucisson was made out og pig's tail in real life too !

One day at school, I don't know why, we talked about saucissson with my friends and they started laughing and I just didn't understand ! And after school when Iasked my parents, they said that they never told me that and it's only then that I realised that what I remembered was a dream ! I felt so stupid !

Now when I think about it, I just laugh. Why would we eat pig's tail? I was so naïve that I belived in my dreams !

I used to think that chops(maybe you call it "porksteak"?)were grown in fidleds like famers grow cereal.Because the bones seems somewhat made of wood, and the edge of it is quite trimed. But I wondered why it was so different from others, and i wished to inspect how did they plant such delicious thing.

Because i was the youngest of 3 brothers my mom told me at an early age that chickens had front legs, all because i wanted a leg like my big brothers. I found out at school when the dinner lady said in front of everyone, chicken only got two legs !

When I was a kid, my family only bought the cheapest "butter" spread- Little more than colored grease i suppose.... and I beleived that "butter" was something you put on your food to make it cool down faster. It certainly didnt add any flavor! After I had real butter, I loved very hot food, so I could drench it in butter to cool it down faster.

My friend's daughter used to call Apples "Napples". Actually, it made sense since people would always ask her if she wanted AN Apple - which sounded to her like A Napple!

In the U.S., they had these peanut butter commercials. They showed a piece of bread with peanuts all over it, but if you spread a knife over the peanuts, it turns into peanut butter! I was always amazed when I saw this happen on TV!
