My mother tells a story about yes/no bananas. You could wish on your banana, slice off the bottom, and if the black smooshy part looked like a "Y", your wish would come true. Try it. They all look like "y"'s.

i used to think that you were hallow inside, and when you eat the food went all the way down your toes and when you felt full, it meant the food was filled up to your neck.

I used to believe that bananas grow on markets because they were always hanging from the stands. My logic was that fruits hang from trees; bananas hung from the market stands- and there you have it- they must be growing there!:)

we were eating at a Chinese Buffet once & our daughter went to the dessert part of it & chose jello. She took a bite & stated "Chinese Jello tastes just like American Jello!!!"

in the cantine at my school i had school dinners witch i dont normly do but it was christmas dinner so i thought i should have any way for dessert we have have ice cream and somebody had spilt ice cream on the floor and when my food had been put on my plate i walked to my seat and slipped in the ice cream and fell over not only has it landed on a teacherr but MY TEACHER!!!!!!!

When I was little my mum told me that food was in packaging to stop little glass men getting in and to stop your mouth from getting cut.

It was only untill I was older and figured it out on my own.

I loved pizza when I was 10 I always wondered why some peperonis are hot some are not. I thought when I wasn't looking aliens put invisible hot sauce on the peperoni.

When I saw people from some african countries on TV who were starving and their children had those typical huge stomachs, they said in the program that the kids were undernourished - I thought that someone nourished them from down under, that's why the stomach...

I thought "hors d'ouevres" was pronounced "horse dee-overs," until my Mom set me straight at about age 10.
