When I was little my dad made me belive their was a midget in the box saying the numbers as you push them. He also led me to believe that he was especially trained to sound the same every time.
i thought that men had to go fishing or we would starve
When I was young, my dad was a retiree of the Air Force and would get retirement checks. I used that think that ANY job somebody had would pay them monthly after they quit, depending on how long they had worked there.
When we would have firedrills the firemen would come tot he school to see how long it would take them to get there.I used to be afraid of them and when the teachers said d'ont be afraid of the nice firement. but itf its not a firemen just kick them were the sun dont shine!" I would soemtimes get them confused when i saw them cuz some of the firefighters woudlknt wear uniforms so i ended up kicking a firefighter!
When my sister was in first grade, all the kids had to write down what they wanted to be for the yearbook....my sister wanted to be an old farmer woman
My dad worked 3rd sh ift when I was growing up and he would get home usually before I had to go to school. Well we had a big window I used to stand at and wait for him to arrive...the window had nails all around it that we used to hold christmas lights. I believed that if I pulled all the nails out and put them back in he would be home before I was done. It worked EVERY time.
when i worked at papa johns as my first job, for awhile i thought you couldnt relax in the back of the store, like it was forbidden or something.
i used to think that customers were people who work behind counters until i learnt what they really were at drama club
