I used to think that we were all dolls living in a doll house and that real humans were controlling our lives. Kinda weird but i was only 5 at the time!

I used to believe that because I have really, really green eyes I was related to a cat.... Imagine my surprise when I saw a cat for the first time in my three year old life. That was of course waaaaaaaay back!

From the age of 4-8 I used to believe I was a cat trapped in a girls body. I would have my Mother draw whiskers on me with eyeliner and I would put on a tail and drink milk from a bowl on the floor. I would say "No, I really am a cat! I was supposed to be born a cat."

Until around age 5, I believed that adults weren't real....they were kinda like t.v. characters and everything around me had a kinda technicolor surrealness to it. So if an adult told me to do something I wanted to do I'd do it, but if they were saying something I didn't want to hear, than I'd ignore them.
When I daydreamed it was like turning the channel. I had the hardest itme turning the channel during spankings though!

I believed that I was mentally deficient and everyone was just being nice to me. I thought that my parents warned anyone that I met just before I met them so that they would pretend to treat me normally. I spent ages scouring my school signs for anything that might suggest I was right. I was mostly convinced when I got 5 As and 4Bs at GCSE, but still consider the possibility when I am having a particularly paranoid moment, hehe.

Not quite sure how that belief came about, I don't think I was particularly paranoid about anything else.

When i was little I use to think that we were dolls and that they i figured it out so they would make me get in trouble. i also belived that flys would talk about me and make fun of me. so every time one landed on me i would try to be nice to it n feed it. didnt seem to work though.

When I was about six or so, I convinced my sister(two years younger than I) that she was, in fact, a fish. I don't know how I did it, or why. She claimed not to believe me, but as soon as I pretended to look away, she started trying to 'swim' right there.

My mom used to think there was something wrong with her because she had to breathe, she didn't know everyone did it. I myself used to hate breathing, I thought it was annoying because you kept having to do it over and over.

I was convinced that my parents never actually took me out of my home town. They would put me in the car and have some sort of elaborate get up outside that would make fake scenery for me to watch whilst they created the 'new' outside. So after 2 days of travelling - as far as I was concerned, we hadn't gone anywhere, it was just warmer.

I used to belive I was tricked into thinking I was who I was by having false memories put into my head. I watched my mother wash lettus in the sink one day. I looked at her and tryed to remember that this memory was a legitimate one.

I woke up one morning believing that my body had been switched but my brain had stayed. I am not sure if it is entirely untrue...

When I was little I used to think humans were dolls and giants played with us. They made our every move. Pretty silly. Huh?

When I was in second grade, my best friend lied a lot, and one day he told me that he had a motorcycle. I asked if he would come and pick me up on it, and he said he would. I spent all afternoon looking out the window for him, until my parents finally told me he was lying. The next day he said him mom wouldn't let him come get me, but from then on, I never believed him when he said stuff like that.
