when i was really good, it was very sunny, or snowed if it was winter.

when i was really bad, it would rain

when i was angry, there would be thunder and lightning

when i was scared, there would be fog (dont ask)

i used to beleive that paople weren't born. (i no that sounds dumb, but read on). i believed that everyone just came to earth as they were when i first met them. so no-one was just, like, 'born'. they just kind of materialized when i met them.

Untill my 13th i used to believe everybody had a telepathic bond except me. It was a test, so i started testing them (that's you). To see if they would react to things i hadn't said yet... (Now being 'old' and wise iv'e found out it's called morphogenetic resonance by Sheldrake)

As a four year old girl I went on a Ride to the Moon with my dog. I always believed I had been there and that my dog was the first dog on the moon, because my mother said so. I even had a fight at school defending that belief.

I used to believe that I was a robot, because I have heard a sort of chirping sound from my head ...

I also believed that I was destinied for greatness and that all the people I met in my life would be interviewed to give an insight into the kind of person I was ...

and another thing I believed - I could get any woman I wanted, it was just a matter of me meeting them (actresses and models included) and them falling head over heels in love with me ...

apparently not.

Within a week of starting primary school aged 5 I made an astonishing discovery. When I got home I said
'Dad I'm not Alice in Wonderland you know',
Aren't you? he said.
'No' I said, 'I'm Alice Cahill'
'Oh how do you feel about that, he asked
'It's OK'

Dad had no idea that I had maintained this belief - one he instilled in me from as far back as I could remember.
Looking back on it I felt very special 'knowing' there was this famous story about me and it gave me a lot of confidence.

I used to believe, like others here, that I was the only real person in the world and everything within a certain radius had to be constructed by hidden skeletons as I came near them, once I had passed through an area the Skeletons then quickly took everything apart again as they had a finite resource from which to create the world with.

I thought the faster I travel or move from place to place the harder the Skeletons had to work in order to build the world for me. I tested out this theory by diving in and out of rooms quickly or if I was in a plane look out of the window as fast as I could.

My sister used to believe that she was born as a monkey and then shaved. This was because I showed her a photo from an encyclopedia with a human and a chimp baby and said it was the two of us.

I used to believe that I'd be one day taken off earth and taken to heaven, when i finished my training on earth (which consisted of learning pain, happiness and being teased all the time. I thought that I was supposed to go through selfishness, depression etc, and then I'd finally complete my training, and everyone else knew this, and each had a special job to do (ie. be nice, tease, be bitchy and stuff)

until i was about 12, i used to believe that the Earth moved when I walked instead of me moving when I walked. Kind of like a treadmill. Im now 16 and I still dont know why I thought that. Oh well!

Up until the age of eight, I used to think all Sophies around the world formed a kind of sisterhood. They, of course, shared the same interests, the same mood, the same character. They worked undercover and they were oh so special

I had the exact same feeling about left-handed people except that they were even more special.

Believe it or not, I'm a left-handed Sophie!

I used to believe the whole world was an illusion and that only I was real... The whole world was an illusion much as in matrix... but it was a physical illusion intended to study me by alien scientists.

I used to try and look around corners to areas they maybe forgot to 'texture' yet, or maybe to places where the 'actors' forgot to pull their suits on and looked like aliens.

I used to believe that when I slept over at my grandmother's house (on the 4th flour of a apartment building), Superman would come one day and give me his powers so I could take over his job as the young Superboy!
What do you want? I was 6 years old!

When I was about 4, I used to pretend I was a mouse named Sara. I would make my mom run around the house looking for me yelling "where's sarah?" then I would squeek while hiding under my bed. For some reason I always wore a bathing suit with a duck on it.

When I was a little girl I used to believe that I was a "secret celebrity". A "secret celebrity" was a kid who was going to be really famous when he or she grew up. Grown ups could tell who these kids were because they had some kind of aura or magnetism to them, and they would stare at the young "secret celebrities" in awe. Since grown ups always seemed to be looking at me I KNEW I was a "secret celebrity", and was destined for greatness. I sure thought a lot of myself! It wasn't until years later that I figured out everyone was staring because I was a goofy, rambunctious little girl!
