When I was a little girl I believed that my dolls came to life every night after I had fallen asleep. I believed that they lived in a doll land between the walls in my house. Sometimes I would try to see it by peering into the cracks in the plaster in my bedroom closet.
I use to believe that all my dolls, and stuffed animals got up everynight when I would go to sleep and have tea parties, hang out together as friends, and get into mischief like in the movie "Toy Story".
When I was 5 or 6 stuffed animals would talk and move around at night.
When I was a child I used to believe that all the dolls had real interior parts of the body like heart, blood, brain and so on. Besides I used to believe that the dolls lived only by night. They talked to each other, ate food and danced. When the sun rose they stopped their night live to allow me and my sister to play with them as we wanted.
When I was a child, a friend of mine told me that the dolls could be alive at night. My brother and I had the same room, it was nice for me, because in the middle of the night I used to go to his bed, to feel safe. I was reallu scared of dolls.
One day, mu mother come to me and said: " You are a little woman and can have your own bedroom. "
I think that day was the most terrifying day of my life.
My sister used to always tell me to be nice to my stuffed toys because they come to life at night to get me back!!
Used to scare the hell out of me and I still can't stand having stuffed toys 'looking' at me!
I used to believe that when I went to sleep, all my stuffed animals would come alive and go party in the land behind the mirror. I remember trying to cajole ‘me, telling that I knew they were really alive so it was okay to speak to me. I also remember begging to get to go along on the nocturnal jaunts to behind-the-mirror land; and, on at least one occasion, I beat the tar out of them for keeping up the pretense and not letting me through the mirror.
i used to believe that when i was lying in bed, and if i closed my eyes for a while and pretended i was sleeping, then opened them really quickly, i would see my teddies and dools alive....im 14 now and still try it!!!
when i was a kid i used to think all my dolls came alive at night & walked around & such. so during the winter at night when it would get really cold, i'd wrap every single doll & stuffed animal i owned up in a blanket to keep them warm.
I used to believe that the Porcelain and Pierrot dolls, that my aunt kept in her spare bedroom, would come alive when you were asleep at night and try to kill you. They still give me the creeps and I'm not sure I've ever gotten over that one. I've never seen a Chuckie movie and also think there is a definately sinister element to garden gnomes!!! Does anyone share my view?

when i was about 3 my mum told me that when i went to sleep or if i was out of my room my toys came alive and played and always believed this until one day when i was about 9 i was talking to my friend about it and they said it wasn't true so i called in my mum and she said my friend was right and she thought i knew that she was joking,i was very upset and anrgy with my mum!
When i was five i used to think we were all dolls living in a HUUUGE doll house (from Thomas the Tank Engine) and that a girl would drive the cars around and move us about from place to place. When I was seven I thought Barbie dolls came to life in the middle of the night and wanted to kill girls that didn'y play with Barbies (from watching the movie Chuckie). And finally when I was 11 I thought that if i jumped and ran very fast and very high i would stay in the air for a few seconds like in the Matrix, I tried it once and I ended up Spraining my ankle really badly... that's what you get form the influence of tv.
I used to think that when I went to sleep my toys would all come to life and play games. One night I wanted to stay up and watch them, but I thought they might realise I was still awake and wouldn't be able to come to life and play, then they'd be cross with me. I went to sleep not wanting to risk it.
when I shared a room with my older sister, she told me if I had to go to sleep early. As my teddies & dolls would come to life at midnight & they would run away if I was still awake. A few years later, to get my younger sister to sleep, I told her the exact story. It worked as she has all her teddies locked away in a cupboard, so they won't run away. Years later she still has them hiding.
