I used to believe that my toys on the end of my bed used to come to life at night - i used to pretend to be asleep and open one eye to try and catch them!
I used to think that all my toys and even the posters on the wall would come alive at night. I used to ask them to be nice and look after me while I slept.
I used to believe that my dolls in my dollhouse came alive. I was afraid that if I left them in my room, they would start walking around and talking to one another. Then one day I hid outside my room and spied on them, but nothing happened. So, I was just stupid.
when i was little i used to believe that all my barbies would come alive at midnight while i was asleep
I used to belive that my dolls played when I was asleep. I would set them out to do things - like a tea party or something - when I went to bed. When I'd get up in the morning they would be where they belonged. Little did I know my mom put them away. I mean, she never put anything else away for me! lol
When I was little I used to have about fifty dolls in my room. I used to believe that when the rest of the family, and I would fall asleep all of my dolls would come to life, and live there lives as we do ours. And when I would wake up in the morning they would all pretend to just be dolls, when in actuallity they were just little people.
I used to believe that when I went to sleep all of my stuffed animals and barbies came alive. I would pretend to sleep to try and catch them while they were alive. I never did anything bad to them because i did not want them to be mad at me when they came to life.
i used to believe that at night my teddy bears wud cum alive and get cold if they didnt have a blanket on them so i used to put them in bed wiv me. i had about 30!
When I was younger, I used to believe that my stuffed animals would come alive at night. Instead of being excited or amused though, I was afraid that if I didn't treat my stuffed animals nicely they'd come after me at night. (I think this came from this sick Christmas movie where toys came alive and tried to remove eachother from the presents so they would not be recieved on Christmas Day...) I used to take turns sleeping with each and every one of my stuffed animals every night so they would not be upset with me.
I used to believe at night, when I was in bed, the toys in my closet would come to life. I always dreamed of my Ken dolls killing me for torturing them so much and flushing one of their heads down the toilet... o.o;;;
I used to think that those little troll dolls with the neon-colored hair were evil little monsters and that if you owned one that as soon as you put it away in your toybox,it would crawl out and come after you when you went to sleep. Needless to say, I threw away my troll doll.
I used to have a HUMONGOUS collection of stuffed toys when i was younger. They were all lined up on rows and rows of shelves, perfectly placed sitting up so they could " see" what was going on. I used to believe that the toys would talk when i left the room or went to sleep. I remember one night i stayed up the whole night totally silent with one eye half open hoping they would begin talking and i would catch them and yell at them for not inviting me to there party. haha the only thing i ended up catching was a bad cold the next day from lack of sleep.
When i was like 6 I thought that my lego's would come alive at night(or anytime no one was watching them)... and the only way you could catch them is with a hidden camera that they didn't know about... I didn't ever have a camera to prove my theory and to this day don't know if this is true or not... though it probebly is not...
Me and my younger sister from the firts time we got barbies [i was 4 and she was like 2]to this day still believe that our barbies would come to life at night and plot DOOM [mostly me]. And also that we [people] were actually babies and there were BIGGER forms of something playing with us. And samething for our barbies. We also both feared our barbies...cause we [mostly me] thought they were evil maniacal lifeless creatures of HELL that were brought up to kill or to take over kids minds.8P...yeah to this day...so thats why i got ride of my dolls but she still has hers...but now she has moved on to even more creepy dolls. [bratz]...and they are twice as evil!!!LOOK at the heads man!!!!.....
used to think that when i went to sleep....or just tobed that my barbie dolls came to life and that they grew to life size...but they would shrink and become plastic again if i turned and looked or woke up
I used to believe that my toys were alive and that, should I neglect to care for their every need, they would kill me in my sleep. Every night I wrapped them up, made sure the blanket wasn't covering their mouths (so they could 'breathe') and wished them a good night. All twenty-odd of them. Individually.
The belief that my toys were living, breathing beings was brought about after watching Toy Story, though I have no idea where the idea of them having a murderous nature came from.
Now I'm sixteen I no longer believe that my toys are alive, but I'm still a little cautious around dolls (which are obviously all evil).
i'm 13 and come from scotland
my belief is that when i was younger, i though that when i was asleep my toys would come to life.
i udes to pretened to be asleep and when i hear the slightest movement i opened my eyes quickly. i told my friend and they managed to got me out of the habbit ***lol***
but some time i still wonder if its true or not, i will never know
When I was around 7 I thought that when I fall asleep all my toys have a party, and when i wake up they all run really fast to where they were before. I also thought this applyed to ghosts and mice and rats aswell.
That my babmbi stuffed animal turned alive at night. my mom would leav half eaten carrots and celery and I thought Bambi ate them at night. I kept that belief until age 8.
I thought that when you went to sleep or left the room, your toys would come to life. Also, if you said something bad about your toys(like "This toy is stupid" or something like that), they'd feel bad. So even today, I try not to say anything bad in front of my toys^_^
