This section contains beliefs all on a common theme: In the alphabet, L-M-N-O-P is one letter, pronounced elemenopee. Show most recent or highest rated first or go back to spelling. When I was learning my ABC's, I thought that "elemenopee" (L-M-N-O-P) was all one letter.
I used to believe LMNOP was one whole letter.
When you learn the alphebet as a kid, it is taught in a song, so it's easy to remember. Well, when ever it came to the "L,M,N,O,P" part, I always thought that was one letter, kinda like "elemeno, P"
I used to think "elemena" was one of the letters in the alphabet.
When I much younger, I thought that the alphabet, instead of containing the letters L-M-N-O, there was a letter that had a very long name: elemeno. Around this time, my family had bought a computer, and I was convinced that the space bar was the "elemeno" key. Elemeno had always been my favorite letter, until I reached kindergarten and learned the real alphabet.
When singing the Alphabet song, I thought that L M N O was all one word, pronounced "elimeno". I wondered what letter that was!
Before I started school I used to believe "ella-minno" was a letter of the alphabet:
ABCDEFGHIJK ella-minno P... you know like double-u....
that the twefth letter of the alphabet was "elemeno" like: a b c d e f g h i j k elemeno p
I could never figure out what an "Elomenopee" was till I learned the alphabet a bit better. "L-M-N-O-P"
I frequently misheard/misunderstood song lyrics when i was a kid. For example:
the alpahbet: "h, i, j, k, ellomellopee..."
jingle bells: "jingle all the way...elmer fudd it is to ride on a one-horse open sleigh.."
:P
I used to believe that l-m-n-o-p was one letter.
I used to believe that the letters L, M, N, and O were one letter while singing the alphabet song. "...H-I-J-K-LMNO-P..."
When saying the alphabet I used to think the "L,M,N,O,P" part really was "Elemento P" i.e. some kind of special "P" that I wasn't aware of.
l-m-n-o-p was one letter
All through preschool, I thought that the letters l m n o were one letter, which would be said elemeno.
I was vaguely aware of the alphabet although not yet in school. When my older brothers sang the alphabet song, fast, at the L-M-N-O-P part, I thought that that was a letter 'P' that had the quality of being 'Elemeno' (whatever that was) in addition to the regular 'P'...
When singing/reading out the alphabet, I used to think that 'LMNOP' was one word and not five separate letters.
top belief!
I used to think "elemeno" was one letter.
H, I, J, K, elemeno, P.
