Growing up in Detroit, I saw a lot of abandoned places. I thought there was a big conspiracy, and that gangster demons were hiding the unicorns in those dilapidated structures.
My dad told me that the Snap Crackle and Pop elves hid behind the corner of my bowl when I was eating rice crispies. I kept moving the bowl around to catch them but then realized there were no corners. That's when I used a bowl with corners. Still no elves.
When I was little my dad told me that the reason the tooth fairy (!) left money under the pillow was because they used to make our teeth into flower pots!
When I was in year 5 I believed in fairies. And there was a row of houses that backed onto out school playing field (with a fence between of course) and I remember seeing a bird house under a tree which had infact fallen out the tree, and I cofinced my self that it was a house for fairies and even went around telling people about it. When It came to my last day of year 11 a lot of my friends wrote about my 'fairy club' in my leavers book.....How embarrassing.
when my mom and i would walk home from school, she used to always tell me that little fairies lived in trees and that they would only come out and let me see them if i was being good the whole day. i never did see any fairies....so i guess i was a snotty little kid!
i used to believe in the tooth fairy until i was climbing and snooping around my mom's closet and i found all my teeth in a plastic cup.
when i was 5 i had this barbie house and i put my tooth inside and on the plastic bed and under a bunch of plastic containers and went to sleep the next morning everyone was in the kitchen and i looked and my tooth was still there then my oldest sister asked where it was and i showed her and we went back down then 1 minute later (no one went up at all) i checked on my tooth and there was money so to this day i still believe inn the tooth fairy.
Once during music class, my teacher was sitting on a chair facing us, and made mention to something being on the left, but added, "well, my left, your right." I didn't understand how left and right changes depending on the way you're facing and was confused. I decided that this meant that when people become adults a fairy comes and chops off their hands and switches them so their left hand becomes their right.
I used to think that the tooth fairy puts you in a deep sleep before stealing your tooth/teeth.
When I was a child I used to belive that fairies were born from the flowers.
In school we were having a party and the teacher asked me what I wanted to dress up as I said a fairy so I thought I would actually become a fairy🤣🤣🤣
i believed in the tooth fairy...until one day i woke up and the light was on and my dad's hand was under my pillow.
I used to think that angels walked on ceilings and had bows and arrows. They were green aliens with single eyes and they fought evil spirits while you were asleep
When I was about 6 I watched a movie about faires. I believed they lived in tree stumps and under rocks. I also believed they would give you candy if you left a trade near the rock. So one day I left a ton of garbage from a dumpster in front of this massive rock I thought they were living in, in hopers of them taking the garbage and in turn leaving me loads of candy. However, I was saddened to find out their were not candy faries and that later my mom found out I had taken the garbage from the dumpster and left it in front of the rock and hence had to clean up all the garbage near the rock.
I was about 6 when I lost my first tooth. I lost another, and another, and another. Apparently, I was pulling out my teeth to get the dollar the tooth fairy left. She quit leaving the dollar. I left it under my pillow for weeks before I learned that there was in fact no tooth fairy. I made the connection that there was no tooth fairy, there was no Santa, and no Easter Bunny. Hard lesson for a couple of bucks.
u noe how u put ur teeth under the pillow wen ur small? (wen i still believed in the tooth fairy)my mother was trying to be cute and told me she heard the fluttering of wings in my room...this scared me to death and i had nightmares about this tooth fairy lol
i used to believe that when you were asleep little fairys sprinkled dreaming dust on you to make you have good dreams, then youre dreams would come true. if i could not remember the dream i got told that it was because i had very good dreams and the fairys toook the dream away to give it to someone with no dreams!!
When I was a kid, I thought that when the flowers moved in the garden (because the wind was blowing) that the faeries were dancing, and the flowers were their bright costumes. But when i got older I realised what happened and i was really upset. But now I've taken that mistake and I've actually written a childrens story about flower faries! But as I'm still 12, I'm waiting until I'm older until maybe I will publish it!!!
I used(and still do, a little bit) to belive that if you closed your eyes that tons and tons of faries ,like Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, would surround you and you could feel there little wings brush and tingle your arms untill you opened your eyes and they dissapear.
i used to think that i would become a fairy if i just wished hard enough!!!LOL
