I used to believe that leprechauns lived under the clover patches in my backyard and that if I made clover cards they would come visit me in my house.
My friend used to believe she could transform into anything she liked. She was the queen of the unicorns, the magic snow spider, and the fairy queen all at once. She used to 'Transform' in front of the kids at school. For the sake of our friendship i pretended i believed, which kind of meant she was my only friend! I thought she was a bit crazy, but then again, i knew i was Princess bluebell of the fairies who thwarted fairy hunters as i flew off to fairyland with my sister, Princess Snowdrop, every night! But only my twin sister (AKA princess Snowdrop) knew about it. I still like to visit the fairies every once ina while to remind them whos boss......
When I was child I used to belive that the tooth fairy was real.
when I was growing used to believe that if I put my tooth under the pillow dropped the tooth fairy would exchange it for cash or currency
As a child I used to think that the toothy mouse existed.
i used to believe that small spirit people (i didn't consider them fairies but it's the closest catagory) were following me around and were only visible in my peripheral vision. as soon as i'd focus on them they'd disappear. they were not evil but rather more curious and watchful of my activities. i wasn't afraid of them and would consider noticing them a good sign that i was doing something interesting to others. i stopped noticing them at about 10 or 11yrs old.
My wonderful Mother taught me to believe...she is amazing! On car trips we would imagine their homes in the gardens we would pass. There was always a fairy peeking at me from behind trees. I used to run around and around trees trying to catch them...now my own daughter gets secret letters and presents. Always believe!
i used 2 believe that fairy's lived at the bottom of my garden! then my sister got me a new teddy she said that get would come out and play with me and my new teddy! at the bottom of the garden!
when i was small i had a problem bedwetting, and had to go to alder hey hospital in liverpool where they sorted me out with a star chart - blue star for one dry night, silver for two, gold for a week, etc. my mum added her own which was this - she planted a 'lollipop tree' in our rockery and said that if i managed to be dry for 2 weeks, the fairies would deliver me a lollipop for my trouble. For the next two years, 'Drumstick' lollies would appear in the rockery. I only found out that the fairies were not involved when, at the age of seven, i caught my dad planting a lolly one morning, dressed in a dressing gown and slippers. i didn't have the heart to tell my parents they had been rumbled and carried on with the lolly tree charade for a considerable time afterwards!
When me and my best friend were little, we fully believed that we were unicorns. We would pretend everything, flying etc. We even had are own cloud picked out in the sky that we could go on. In the girls bathroom, there was a door that we could never open. We believed that it was the entry into the mystical world of unicorns and that we could show are other friends(they were not unicorns) this wonderful place. Well one day we are all walking to the bathroom and we see the door cracked and something moving. At this point we are all excited, but low and behold there stood the janitor getting a broom. Very disappointing moment in my life!
I always thought if I turned really fast or watched carefully out of the corner of my eye I would see some of the fairy-tale creatures still around: like a unicorn. Actually, I think I still believe that deep down somewhere :)
when i was little, and lost a tooth, my mum would have me put it under my pillow so that the tooth fairy would come during the night and leave a gift. then once i put the tooth under my pillow without warning my parents first and guess what, the tooth fairy didn't come ! that's how i figured she didn't exist
i beilieve (Still) that faries are attraced by cheese! One of my friends told me that and it makes sense (Somehow!)
I used to belive that fairies lived inside lavenders but they were so small you couldn't see them. And if a bee ever came near you they would give you 50pence under your pillow.
I used to believe that fairies are real (who didn't believe that when they were young? :D ) My sister and I would make fairy houses in our garden and hope that some fairies would move in.
When a little girl I used to believe in tooth fairy. Then I discovered that my mom was who put money under my pillow and took my milk tooth.
The tooth fairy came to our house quite often as one by one as my brothers and my baby teeth fell out.
I was curious to find out the fairies name, and left a little card with my latest tooth asking what the fairies name was, and a space at the bottom at the card - "Please put your name here ....."
(Well the tooth fairy was in a bit of a quandry, because writing a name in human handwriting was sure to be a dead giveaway, and what was the tooth fairys name anyway?)
When I woke in the morning, the answer was quite clear, in the space provided was a brightly coloured star formed in glitter, There was no doubt that her name was 'Star'
I used to believe the toot fairy stole your money.

I half-believed in the tooth fairy until I was 12 or 13 and caught my dad making the switch in the middle of the night. I felt really sad about it afterwards, like it wasn't my choice to stop believing, like Santa or the Easter Bunny, but that it was taken from me.
When i was little i used to belive that there were little invisible fairies on top of the street lights. I thought the fairies would choose the group w/ more cars and let them go. however one day we got a "mean" fairies. our lane had many more cars and he let the oher lane go. so i started crying. Our light turned green and my mom started to go i was still crying getting ever louder. my mom was trying to look at me in the back seat in her rear view miror, and wasnt watching her speed. well a cop pulled her overe and gave her a ticket.
