I used to have an imaginary friend called Pingey (Pin-jee) . He resembled a small orange dinosaur with tattoos. Nobody else could see him because he was so small. I remember for some reason he could eat really fast. When my parents asked me where he came from I said he just came in a nappy (thats daiper for you Americans) box.

When I was little, (like maybe 5 or 6) I had one of those beds that had the canopy over it. I used to think that there was a whole neighbourhood of tiny people living on top, and I would have long conversations about delivering their mail to them every night hahaha

My cousin is 3 years old and she has 3 imaginary friends: Tina, Ashton, and Ashley. Tina always gets Lexi in trouble so one day, my aunt told her to tell Tina that she had to be good in church. Lexi then proceeds to scream "TINA GET OUTTA THE TRASH CAN! I GOTTA TALK TO YOU ABOUT CHURCH!" Apparently, Tina, Ashton, and Ashley reside in her princess trash can.

One day, Lexi was going to have a sleep-over with Tina, Ashely, and Ashton. She threw a fit because Ashton said he couldn't come to her party. My aunt told her that was ok because there were no boys allowed and I guess in the next five seconds, Ashton had a sex change and became a girl.

I am going to tell u beforehand that my parents are both idiots.

One day i came home and told my parents that i had met a boy with a toy dragon. They thought I had said a boy dragon and assumed that I had made an imaganary friend. I told them his name (Kyle) and they said thatz nice dear.

one day i was talking on the phone with Kyle and my parents heard me talking to him. They asked me were Kyle lived. I told them and they asked if he would really live that close. I did not understand where they were going.

Several weeks later and I was good friends with Kyle the "boy dragon" and my parents thought that it had gone on long enough.

They took me to a therapist who asked me all about Kyle. I had no idea what was happening.

A few weeks later and I was still talking to Kyle. My parents offerd me gifts if i wud stop playing with Kyle.

After a few MORE MONTHS of this my parents and I had finally figured out there had been a misunderstanding.

Kyle and I still laugh about this.

Oh and it was wierd for me to have and imaginary friend because I was 12.

I had an imaginary friend when I was younger. She was called Anniver. My mum has since told that I named her this becsue I had just learnt the word anniversary! Anniver looked like me, but had different coloured clothes to me! She would come everywhere with us, my mum would put the seatbelt round her in the car, just like she did me! But one day, mum forgot to hold the car door open for Anniver to get in! Sadly, Anniver was crushed in the door when my mum slammed it and died from her injuries! Recently I've thought that I could've kept her alive, as she was in my imagination, but I think it must've been time for me and Anniver to part ways and grow up seperately.

My brother believes that Link from the Legend of Zelda and the Master Chief from Halo hang out at the local Starbucks, reminiscing about the good old days when they had to save the world. They sometimes go back to the Master Chief's house (he decided Hyrule is probably a long way away) and play Super Smash Brothers Melee. Link's favorite character is Luigi (for some reason) and the Master Chief's favortie character is Zelda / Shiek.

He is swearing that the Master Chief will appear in the new Zelda game coming out this fall; the two are apparently old friends that help each other out in each other's games.

When I was about 7 or 8, my mum told me that at dawn in the mornings, if I listened very carefully by the window, I'd be able to hear a magical piper playing flutes...

I swore that I could hear them playing! I think I started believing this after reading Wind In the Willows for some reason!

All through primary school, there was this little dark green dragon who sat on my shoulder all through the school day and before school I picked him up from the tree where he lived and after school I dropped him off again. I can't remember if he even had a name, but I remember it was a him. He was about hand-sized and he was always nearly falling off my shoulder and hanging on with his claws. Didn't talk, as far as I remember. I had to leave him behind on my last day of primary school, because the route to the high school didn't go past his tree.

I am 12 now and I still have "Imaginary" friends (whom prefer to be called lousetams, whatever that may be.) One is a wolf, Terhne. (Tah-ryn.) The others are humans or witches or magickal people. One or them is me, with the name I'd like to have (Sora). My mother says thats confusing because I have an imaginary friend named Sora and I want to be called Sora. Terra and the rest are there for company and we're aways exploring and looking for things to do... sometimes I have the attention span of a ferrret. People must think me either A.) Mental or B.) phycological when I talk to people in my head etc. etc. ^^

from the age of about 2 untill i was about 5 i had 2 imaginary friends named shlocksy and shlacksy im not to sure of the spelling but just the other day i found that these are german names.
They both looked identical only 1 was a boy and 1 was a girl they both had bright ginger hair.
I remember my mum had to make spaghetti loops and mashed potatoes for dinner they had their own place at the dinner table. but the funny thing was that when i grew they grew with me. We also used to jump of my sofa into a pretend pool i used to prance around the house for hours in my swimming suit.
I live in belfast and when i was young i grew up in a house with two older brothers i think i had these mates because i was and still am the only girl in the house i now have 2 younger brothers also.
Shloksy and shlaksy were great mates. at the beginning i always had them with me and once i was out and about playing with other children they gradually faded away but i do remember the day they said farewell and dissappeared through a hole in my bedroom wall . then just around three months ago i was feeling a bit lonely everybody was busy and i fell out with my boyfriend i could swear i saw 2 little kiddies exactly like i can remember going through the same place in my bedroom wall as i still live in the same house

When i was really young i used to have two imaginary friends. Shomes and Kano. So once i was moving with my family and when we were about half way two our house (which was like 2 hrs away) i started to scream, and when my parents asked what was wrong i told them that i had left Shomes and Kano at our old house and we had to go back to get them. So my dad drove all the way back to our old house, straped in my imaginary friends (seat belts and all) cause i wanted them to be safe, and they didn't talk to me for all of the rest of the car ride.

Then there was my other imaginary friend who ran away because i wanted to change my name to rainbow named, Thomas.
