When I was very young I never had showers and so I was usualy in the bath. When my mum was washing my hair i was looking on the ledge next to the window and i imagened a boy with a trunk as a nose so i named him trunky. When i didnt feel like talking about him i would always say Trunkys on holidays gone to australia when we live in australia!

When i was little i had a bunch of little puppies that would follow me all over the place. i had a favorite one that had a blue sweater on. the last memory i have of them is them running behind my parents car while we were going on a long car ride. i don't think i imagined them after that... maybe it was my mind telling me that it was time to leave my imaginary friends behind and be a big girl.

i guess i had an imaginary friend. he wasn't very friendly though. i saw him a lot more when i was like three. he never told me his name no matter how many times i asked. he always said 'sir' was fine. he was pretty tall and skinny and always wore a suit. he looked pretty normal except he didn't have a face and when he talked to me, i heard him in my head. we never really played games or anything though. he tought me how to draw and how to play the piano. i remember he never let me touch him. every time i got close he'd vanish but i'd hear him say to me in my head that if i tried that again he'd leave me forever. i would see him a lot in my dreams too. he would always call me by a different name in every dream. once he called my by my father's name in a dream and when i asked him why he called me that, he said to take it as it is. what does that even mean?? i'm fifteen now and i see him less and less. the one thing that bugged me was he had people of his own that he could see and i couldn't. he would talk to them all the time but i couldn't see or hear them. i thought it was a game but he said it was just work. i guess even imaginary people need imaginary friends of their own.

When I was in kindergarden I had an imaginary friend named "Noname". I truely believed in him. He would accompany me to school and he even had his own desk. looking back I am surprised and gratefull that everyone went along with it.

The Monkees were my imaginary friends. We had so much fun, they would always entice me into playing games instead of doing chores. My parents thought I was lazy, but of course I had to entartain my friends!
When I was 4, I used to believe that I had imaginary friends, who had their own village. I used to leave them half of my food on a plate.

when i was young i used to think i wasn't normal not to have an imaginary friend because my closest friends had them so i used to make up ones on the spot and try really really hard to see them but it never worked.....

I misunderstood the concept of the Sandman as a kid.
My mom, checking on me before she went to bed, found me sitting up in bed. Why aren't you asleep, she wanted to know.

When ever i saw a "face" in objects or walls ie. tree trunk, bedroom wall splatter (splatter of what who knows), I would think it was watching me and stare back into their "eyes" (I was a lonley kid)

When I was in 5th grade I had an imaginary friend named Danny who was a punk with a studded leather jacket and a tall black Mohawk he would dye green & was 3 yrs older than me. He was really cute and hated me but decided to talk to me. For years I've been into punk because of him and still communicate with him. Except now these days he has dirty blue hair in liberty spikes that looks like dreads cuz he doesn't clean it. Were always crazy n hyper. Wish we could be together but we no we can't.

i had a horrible childhood. I used to hide in the back of the closet under our stairs. One day i opened the door, and there was a VERY fat british man with orange yarn hair sitting in my spot. I wasnt in school yet. Maybe 4. He said "ive been waiting so long. I didnt think youd come." his name was gravie and he lived at arctic circle (fast food at the end of my street). He smelled like fries, and he always knew the best games, but he got me in trouble a lot. I used to tell my mom "you have to be nice. Gravie said so". He left for actic circle at bedtime when i was 10 and never came back :(

My little brother used to have a "Friend" called Logan. At the dinner table he would talk about Logan. My mum went to his Nursery once and asked if there was a boy/girl called Logan there, but there wasn't. So thats why i think it was an imaginary friend.

When I was 5 I had 2 imaginary friends named Beattie and Ghani. They lived under the stairs but would also make occasional appearances under the kitchen table. I remember that Beatie was the wiser of the 2 whilst Ghani was a bit of a rogue. Beatie would spend a lot of his time keeping Ghani in check! They would always appear together and were great friends. After a while I just declared that had gone from under the stairs. Good memories!

I used to have an imaginary friend called douglas who was orange with blue hair. one day we were watching a kid's program when the characters had an imaginary friend exactly like douglas *even the same name*. this caused an abrupt ending to our friendship as i thought he was cheating on me with other peoples imaginations...

I used to believe that all little kids had imaginary friends, and that since I didn't have one, I was abnormal. I tried to make one up for myself, and it was really hard because I didn't realize they came naturally instead of forced. I eventually came up with an imaginary twin for me named Isabella, and was exactly like me only with a (very poor) british accent. Needless to say, I got bored with her VERY soon.

I have an imaginary friend and her name is Sailor. Her birthday is the same as mine! She looks almost exactly like me! I made her up on 9/24/11. Her parents are deceased and her brother went off to imaginary college. His name is Echo. I have to go now because we are going to go play!

Ummm when I was around 6/7 my imaginary friends were Spiderman and X-Men & Superman, I remember when my cousins use to ask me a question I'd go behind the house and ask my friends and they always agreed. when spiderman 2 came out I was devastated coz I thought they were replacing my friend. When The guy who played Superman died I cried coz I felt like I lost a friend. I use to sit in my room for hours playing catch with them until I got bored coz they didn't feel like throwing back, lol

When I was around 5, I had two imaginary friends named Fred and Tornado. Fred bore a striking similarity to the monster in Monster's Inc. that got a sock stuck to him, and Tornado was a constantly spinning, talking tornado the color of my portals. Mostly turquoise with some red.
They could shrink because I felt bad that Fred had no place to sleep and offered him the under of my bed, because that's where monsters were supposed to sleep. But since i didn't really have an "under," he had to be able to shrink.
I met Tornado's family once. He had a dad named Hurricane, a mom named Gail(like gail force winds), and a little sister named Breeze.
