I used to have an imaginary friend who was a monkey. He never had a name, just monkey. When I went anywhere with my mam, I wudn't let mam cross the road with out holding his hand. My mam used to get very angry and once shouted at monkey in the street, telling him to keep up and stop walkin slow. Whos the crazy one I ask u?

I used to have imaginary friends who were ghosts. I could only talk to them in the bathroom. I would talk to them when I was scared. The very fact that I was talking to ghosts made me feel brave, as I was scared of ghosts. It was the best way for me to live with that fear, to befriend what I feared. They would always listened to my worries, and would offer great advice. I now talk to myself.

I used to have an imginary cat friend called Banga. I used to come out of school and tell my mum that she was dead. She always replied, "Don't be silly."
I got very annoyed when all my friends got imaginary friends too: I recall my best friend's was called Star. I once hit my friend for insisting that Star existed. I hated the idea that other people could have imaginary friends too.

I used to have an imaginary friend. Her name was Becky. She was my best friend in the whole world, and one afternoon we were playing out front while my father was working on the house. She leaned up against the wall to rest and my father drilled a hole right through her. She dissapeared and I would not speak to my father for three days.

I used to be very fascinated by the weather and sometimes wished I could have a tornado for a best friend.

For some very strange reason, I used to think that a huge pink bunny was always behind me. The bunny was person-sized, like someone in an Easter Bunny costume, and I could never see it because it would hop around to avoid me. I believed this for years, until my sister was old enough to talk and I asked her if there was a bunny behind me. I was kind of upset when I learned the truth.

top belief!

My sister is legally blind. She can see the big E on the chart, but even then, it is only shadows. I always had to guide my sister around when we were in an unfamiliar place. (I still do, actually...) Anyways, I felt silly walking around holding my big sister's hand, so I made her hold Velma's hand instead. Velma used to steer my sister into gutters and trees and railings. I miss Velma...

When I was around 3 or 4, I had an imaginary friend named Jenny. I would talk to her on a play phone...she was never actually there in person. Jenny would call me and tell me about her adventures. As I grew older, Jenny started to call me less and less. My mother asked why this was and I said that Jenny had turned into a mermaid and was vacationing out in the ocean. The last time she called, Jenny was no longer a mermaid. She had turned into an eagle and flown away. The last thing I told my mom about Jenny was that she was dead. A hunter had shot her...I was very odd as a child.

I used to think that the splash that came up from the bathtub when the water faucet dripped was my friend, Mr. Drip. He would jump up out of the water if I told him something he was interested in.

When I was little I used to have the best imaginary friend ever. Her name was Kelly and we lived together and we had 1000 dogs...all sorts of sizes and breeds. Well we would run around in my backyard and front yard trying to keep the bad guys from getting any of our dogs! Of course, Kelly's friends helped me a lot too.
Afterwards we would always go to TCBY in our 'cars' and get ice cream!

When I was about 3 or 4 I had an imaginary friend. He was a very tall skinny boy with a goatee and black hair. His name was Bojangles (a name which I had heard my brother use alot, but I didn't know he was talking about male genitalia >_<)
Bojangles liked to dress up in costumes and he dressed up like jesters alot. Once I remember he dressed up as a pirate and as a knight and he often dressed up in animal suits. With every costume he gave himself a nickname (i.e Captain Plankfoot Pirate was the pirate name of his). I used to talk to him when I was scared at night and pretend he was dancing and flying around the room. As soon as I started kindergarten he wasn't around much anymore, until he left completely.

I used to believe in imaginary friends. I had an imaginary friend named Billy. Whenever I'd break something in the house, I'd say that Billy did it. My parents wouldn't believe me, but some how I managed to have them believe it was my sister! HAHAHA! Billy was a short little guy with big coke bottle glasses and braces because I wanted both of those when I was little. Now, I don't have either one, just contacts. HAHA!

i used to think i had a friend named fred. me and my brothers were the only ones who could see him. when we were learning to ski he managed to steal my cousins skis, push him off and take the skis around the lake. (actually the rope got hooked on the skis and kept dragging them around the lake, nobody in the boat noticed my cousin had fallen of) we blamed fred, for that and alot more. i still laugh at how fred stole dannys skis, hehehe

I had a tiny wee army of fleas as did my friend,Joey. My main flea was called Angus and Joey's was Kevin but there were many others. They started out as a protection device against the Kevin Beetles, big black poisonous beetles that lived in between the bricks that out street is paved with. They quickley developed into so much more though...
Also,I could see the fleas belonging to Joey quite clearly, and she could see mine, she knew exactly what they looked like without me telling her.

When I was little (until about eight or nine, actually, and sometimes I still believe it), EVERYTHING was alive and had feelings and stuff. I had clouds painted on my ceiling and I would make shapes out of them and give them personalities accordingly. One looked like a platypus and several were people. Some were grumpy and some were fun, and some didn't get along with each other and some were best friends, despite being on opposite sides of my cieling.
I also thought my dolls were alive (but that isn't really unusual). My favorites were (and still are) a baby doll named Abbey (she had lots of names before that, until I decided to name her after a baby in my church.) and Bunny, who is a bunny. Bunny always felt she didn't get as much attention as Abbey, so I was very careful to treat them both fairly. I think this belief came about because Bunny had a slightly squished face which always made it look like she was scowling.
There were lots of other inanimate and imaginary objects that were people. But I will never forget those clouds on my cieling, which got painted over when we moved, the poor dears.

Very popular with inanimate things

When my brother was little he had an imaginary friend, her name was Minga...yeah, any way I thought that when he talked about "playing with Minga", he had teleported into another world where all his other friends lived.

From the ages of two to four I had two imaginary friends. They were twins. There names were Popcity and Citypop. Citypop was evil and always doing bad things to get me in trouble. Popcity was fun and used to play games with me.
