ok when i was little my dad would talk to himself all the time and i asked him who he was talking to and he said the little person in his head.then he told me that everyone has a little person in their head and that if i ever saw someone talking to themselves thats who they were talking to. Then i started believeing that and i told all my friends that there was little people living in their head. so i would talk to the man in my head. I did this for about 2 years before he told me his name, but i still "talk" to him. really it is just a reason not to tell people i talk to myself.

I used to have an invisable monkey pal named bingo. We would do everything together including eat dinner. I made my mom put a plate out for him and everything. I always thought he just wasn't hungry.

When I was about 4 I had 2 imaginary friends- One was Scar from the Lion King, and the other was Aladdin.

During the Summer one day, they were "Pushing" me on the swing. My dad came outside and said "Wow! You learned how to get the swing going!" (I didn't know how to). But I insisted that my imaginary friends were pushing me :)

Weird...

When I was about four, I felt that all four year olds HAD to have an imaginairy friend... So I decided to have one called Annie... Who i didn't really believe in, who i didn't really like, and who I didn't like to play with.
Yet Annie was around for a good three years...

I was watching some cartoon and the character had an inaginary friend. So i thought it would be fun to make one. I went out to our playset and started pushing an empty swing. My little sister came out and asked what i was doing. "I'm pushing my imaginary friend, ______" i forgot her name. so my little sister (the copycat) started pushing her OWN imaginary friend. Soon there were dueling imaginary friends, both trying to swing the highest. I realized how stupid it all was and shoved my sister's imaginary friend's swing sideways. My sister started bawling.
From then on, i only communicated with imaginary friends in my dreams.

When I was about 6, I started believing that there was a sewer rat living under the school that I could talk to telepathically. I would stare at the bathroom drain and when I flushed I would warn him about it.

I always had an imaginary friend and dog ever since i was 7 years old, and I acted to them as if they were real. And i always thought that they WERE real. So i always sat with them and watched t.v in exact position = Dog, me, imaginary friend. I was always inbetween them. Them my sis would come along and sit on my dog or my friend! SO i would scream and cry and cry and my sister would laugh and laugh.

When I was little I had 3 types of imangary friends. I had frocks, who were little creatures that lived behinf my couch, and left when we moved (i cried for days). I also had "spiders" that lived under my arms. They had bunk beds and everything! And I also had the straw wrappers that I kept in the car...they died after I got home though. I later found out my mom threw them away.

Once when I was 5 or 6 in my old house my sister and I were in our dining room eating cookies. My sister said that there was an imaginary friend in there named Peter. Every time I looked at "his" cookie, there was another bite missing. For a period of time I thought he was real.

I used to have an imaginary friend I called Maple Syrup. I thought that was the prettiest name. Had no clue that it was what you put on pancakes at the time!

I used to have an imaginary friend named Joey. Joey was 16, and a kangaroo. I didn't realize the only female kangaroos had a pouch, so Joey had one that he used to carry me in. He lived in an invisible house that ran from one side of my street to the other, like a bridge. The door was 6 feet off of the ground and he had to jump really high to reach it.

There was one time, before my little brother was born, my mom had left a pie shell cooling on the table... it looked so good, so I just took a pinch out of it and another, and another..... when she asked who did it (I was an only child at the time), I told her Joey did it and she pretended right along with me that he had.

As I child I thought imaginary friends were real people that just couldn't be with you at the moment, so they sent themselves as invisible people.

When I was about 3-5, i really did believe in imaginary friends. One night, i was really, really, bored, so i decided to have a house party with my imaginary friends. I would open the door and welcome them to my home and then i turned on teh tv and pretended it was music and started dancing...ahhhh the innocence of youth!

When I was little, my mom would always tuck me in. And when i would put my ear to the pillow, i swore i could hear people moving around. I told my mom this, and she would alwyas say good night to me, and then whisper into my ear goodnight to the Litte people. I believed her until i was about 5...

My mom used to call our house (when you were able to do that, remember?)while I was upstairs...she would change her voice and say she was Little Miss Muffet. I believed her. For weeks (or more?) she would call me pretending to be 'LMM'. I believed it was her and was excited to talk to her. I would always ask if she could come over to play with me...but she never could! For some reason, in my mind, I pictured her as this cartoon character-looking kid, not human. I thought that's how she really looked! I was crushed when I realized it was my MOM playing a trick on me! :o)

Ok, this is *really* weird. I used to go to my grandmas instead of daycare. Before she lived there, a young boy called Mark took his own life in there. I would constantly sit on the stairs and jabber to no-one. Then my gran asked me would I like a drink. Response? "Yeah, can Mark have one too?" From then on I had an invisible friend named Mark, who lived on my gran's stairs. How weird is that o_O
