I used to believe that Candy Cane Caninyos (pronounce: ca-NEEN-yos) lived on South Pearl Street. Me and my mom went down Pearl to see if there were any.
"Did you see any candy-cane caninyos?" Mom asked.
"It's night and they're sleeping." I replied.
Mom did one of those mother-exasperated sigh things and drove home

Hiya.
I'm 12, and when I was 4-10, I never had an imaginary friend. I didn't really understand how the other kids could see this freaky-deaky being that didn't move anything, eat, sleep, or take up room (like you could run through them). I also wonder if they were unrealistic (cartoonish) or more realistic.
But now, i have an imaginary friend who is a purple blob named NotBob. :]

When I was about 4 through 7, I used to say I had imaginary friends named Bella and Chella and they followed me wherever I went! One day my mom and I were going to Dairy Queen, and I said I will have 3 chocolate sundaes please! Then she asked why and I said "Bella and Chella are hungry too!"
Im 12 now but I still think it's hilarious!

My little brother used to have a "Friend" called Logan. At the dinner table he would talk about Logan. My mum went to his Nursery once and asked if there was a boy/girl called Logan there, but there wasn't. So thats why i think it was an imaginary friend.

I used to have a few imaginary friends, I made them all at the same time, they were mobs from Minecraft, they were Creeper, Zombie, Mr. Pig, Skeleton, and Steve. Since I didn't hang out with them much I used to act like they were SUPER heavy sleepers, so when I wanted to hang out with them I would pretend to wake them up, they used to live by my bed.

I think they are still living in my house...

When I was about 5 or 6, I had an imaginary friend named Matt. I named him that because he was always on a mattress for some reason. Then he moved to Florida. Why, I don't know.

We had a fireplace in our old farmhouse and when the wind would blow it would sound like someone was talking to you through the chimney. This person soon became my best friend Mrs. Hollister! My mom said that I would lay on the hearth and talk to her for hours on end. She was the best babysitter my mom ever had.

Whenever I watched a TV show, film or read a book, if it was about little talking animals, i'd pick 1-2 of my favourite characters and they'd follow me around for a few weeks. The most memorable is that once i was followed around for a month by Beatrix Potter's character, Samuel Whiskers, and his wife, Anna Maria.

I had an imaginary freind named Lisa, who was my daughter who came from the future to alter my past. She would never tell me who my wife was going to be, and once she tried to kill me. She returned to the future when she found out I was the wrong guy... I watched too much Sci-Fi junk...

I had two imaginary friends, KeeKee and Lottie. I would tell my family on a daily basis what me and my imaginary friends had done that day. I can remember sitting in my parents station wagon in the driveway pretending to drive. KeeKee and Lottie were in the backseat fighting, so I would have to pull the car over and spank them both. It was a lot of work taking care of those two.

I had the weirdest imaginary friends as a child - none of which were human.
I had a brontosaurus named Minnie Mouse, who lived by the trailer in my front yard wearing a typical Minnie Mouse outfit (polka dot dress with matching bow and heels)
I had a tiger named Mr. Muggs who wore a mailmans had. Funny, he never delivered mail...the only time I would see him would be if he happened to be walking down the street, but he was quite a dull character to talk to.
I had a tiny white mouse named Little John who wore a tiny yellow tee and red overalls. He lived in my garden and was the fastest creature 'in the world'.
And lastly, my favourite, was E.T. and brown, cartoon, moose. His size varied from bigger than my house, or pocket-sized so I could take him with me wherever I went.
I would often spend my time outside playing with E.T., making up routines (dancing and singing) like they did on Barney.
And, I really did have one human friend. Mayda. But she only existed for a day.
