I had an imaginary brother named Jason (I'm a girl) when I was littler. He was older than me, sometimes mean and sometimes nice. When I was home alone I would say stuff (out loud) to him and make up his reply in my head and pretend he said it.

Like some of the previous entries, I too had imaginary friends - all miniatures. I didn't really call them fairies or elves, but they were tiny and I was responsible for their welfare. They lived in my bedroom upstairs which was an older home on a farm. I had them for many years - I don't remember when I finally gave them up. Every once in awhile they come back to my memory, but I don't remember if I gave them names or not.

I was quite lonely growing up. My solution was to create to imaginary friends, but whenever I tried to play with them they would shut me out and only play with each other...

When I was really little (I can't remember how old but I know it was before I went to school) I had an imaginary friend named Fiction. I never remembered Fiction but my mom told me about it.

She said I would walk around the house talking to the ceiling. Apparently Fiction could fly!

Well one day my mom decided to ask me about Fiction. My mom first asked who I was talking to and I responded, "Fiction." The next day she asked what fiction looked like and I just shrugged. I never answered any more questions about Fiction after that :D

From 2 years old til i was 7 i had three giant imaginary friends. I was scared of 2 of them and would need mum to hide behind when they came. I'd know when they were coming because a bright orange snake would shoot past with lightening speed. They always visited one at a time.

I used to have a friend. His name was "Ramesh Rabbit". He had two rabbit children and a rabbit wife with the same names as us and somehow, did everything we did. The strange part was, that he in no way resembled a rabbit and, with one simple turn, became my father, Ramesh. He was my friend till I was 7 years old and realised that he bore a remarkable resemblance to my own father...

When I was 7, I used to be convinced that I was a Pokemon trainer. Charmander and Eevee were the Pokemon I used most often (like Pikachu) and I was the Gym Leader of Scarlet Town (I made it up -it was based on my hometown). Ash/Brock was my boyfriend and often cared for me when I was injured, tenderly bandaging my wounds and kissing me on the forehead. At one point, I made a "Trojan Horse" type trap for Team Rocket, which was a "present" made from a LARGE cardboard box for Meowth from his cousin "Towner".

This continued until I was 11.

I've always had an imaginary friend, his name is mems, he sort of looks like a worm but he's not. I found him when I was little in the basement and adopted him ever since, I have a whole rhyming song about him and everything, I still have him, only now in the back of my mind I know he doesn't really exist.

Most kids have imaginary friends when they're really young, but I started creating them at around age eleven. I started going through depression at that time, so my imaginary friends were my way of coping.
Stevey, my all time best friend, is still my conscience, friend, and the itty bitty voice in my head that says, "I told you so, but it's alright. We can still make it better."
He's even stopped me from attempting suicide.
I owe my life to a being I know doesn't exist.

When I was about six, I had a whole imaginary "magic" world which could only be reached by walking in a certain pattern in the woods behind my yard. I pretended I was a boy named Harley (who did ballet, like I did at the time), and I was illegally learning magic from a woman named Elspeth. Apparently I was the only person from the "real world" who could access this place, and therefore I had to protect both worlds from the evil Prince of the Night. As it turned out, the only reason he was evil was because he didn't have a name. I defeated him and gave him a new name, and then we got married. I guess same-sex marriage was legal in the magic world!

A few years later, my friend and I were horse-crazy and would pretend we had a whole herd of horses and that my front yard was actually a countryside where we raced the horses. One of my horses died and I told my friend I was going to carve his name into the wall of the "stable", which was actually part of our wooden fence. Good thing I never did, since that fence was brand new.

I had an imaginary friend named Naydeen from Arthor- the t.v. show. But I forget all about the t.v. show. I only remember the little girl in the show named her imaginary friend Naydeen so I did too. I kept on forgetting about her through out the years. Finally, I made her come back when I was around 12. I talked to her every night and had a journel about what we did together. Then some kids at school found my journel and ripped it up. They made fun of me about it all the way until I was in 8th grade. then, they stopped. But every once and a while I get teased about it...

I used to believe that story book characters would really come to life once the book was shut. I would open the books really fast hoping that I would suprise them and catch them in the midst of their daily activities.
