top belief!
Because of a poem, I believed that if I always put pepper in my hair, witches would leave me alone, because, you know, they sniff you before they eat you, and the pepper would make them sneeze and you'd be able to get away!
When I was about 6 yrs old, my sister convinced me that our parents were witches. She said that we wouldn't get our powers until we turned 15. She also convinced me they were evil and practiced their magic after we were put to bed. I believed this until I was 8, the day I confronted my parents about it. They laughed at me but I persisted to get them to confess. Then my sister comes in and says, "Really? I was kidding."

I used to believe that my stepmother was a witch and, because her birthday IS on Halloween, that on that particular night, she would turn into a black cat. My dad was the one that told me this...only because he knew I would believe anything he told me. lol
When I was little my mom worked for a local pizza place, on occasion she would have to take me with her to work. One night she told me not to go near the ovens because a witch lived there and she would eat. I never went that stove or any other til I was 10.

When I was about 6, I believed that all widowed women who dressed in black were witches trying to escape their sorrow by passing it on to others. I found I could thwart them by making them smile and thus turn them back into normal people.
When I was a child, I used to believe that there were ghosts, witches and vampires in my grandmother's house, and never wanted to sleep there. The house was dark, with old furniture and many mysterious paintings, some antiques, even the doors squeaked. My grandmother had a black cat, and she always dressed in black clothes. I used to believe that my grandmother was a witch.
When we were younger, my friend and I really believed we were witches and had magical powers. Every Halloween, we would go to the stop sign and say a rhyme to get into Halloween Town.

When I was 5 I believed a witch lived under my bed. When it was time for bed I would clear a path between my lightswitch and my bed. I would then get in the pre-race stance with one hand on the lightswitch. Then as i flicked the switch off I'd take off running to my bed and when I was a couple of feet from the bed launch myself onto it. This way the witch wouldn't grab me by my feet and cook me in her pot.
There were, however, a few times when I jumped a little too soon, landing straight on my face, which I imagine looked pretty funny to the witch.
When I was 3, my neighbor told me she was a witch and she said Godzilla was going to step on my house.
well um this may sound like I'm crazy and all but when i was little like around 5 or 6 i used to think my family had something special i thought we were all witches. The reason is my mom knew stuff about people without even talking to them or knowing them then i saw a big book in our house with a funny symbol on the front of it and when i went to pick it up my mom told me not to because it had fallen apart and it would break so i dismissed it as nothing then the next day it was gone. and now come to find out my family has some very strong witchcraft running through us and we are descendants of some witches weird hu i think so i still cant find that book
At a sleepover me, my sister and my two friends played 'white witch' in the dark while my mom was in the kitchen. We closed our eyes and said white witch three time and then she (the white witch) would appear on one of our faces.
After we said it three times my friends and my sister started screaming that she was on my face so I took off, crawling on the carpet and jumped into the kitchen... scaring my mother half to death. They, and my mom believed they saw the 'white witch'
i used to believe Harry Potter was real
when i was little my older sister convinced me that she and mom were witches. one day on the way to daycare my mom was driving and i asked her when i was going to get my witch powers. she had no clue what i was talking about... to this day i still do witchcraft....
When I was little, my grandma told me that 1:00 am was witches hour. If I wasn't asleep, the witches and ghosts would come out and 'get' me. I had a nightmare that night. I was locked in the bathroom and witches were pounding on the door (it didn't have a lock) trying to get in.
when i was like 6, i used to think that if i coughed or made any noise, a witch would get me from under my bed.

On one of my college breaks I went to go visit my half sisters. the oldest one was 5 at the time. we were hanging out in the front yard, when all of a sudden she looks up and screams "THE WICKED WITCH IS COMING!!!!"
I looked up into the sky where she was pointing but saw nothing out of the ordinary. I asked her how she knew the wicked witch was coming and she said because of the lines her broom leaves in the sky. she was pointing up at the exhaust lines left behind by an airplane, and went on to say how daddy told her all about it.
When I was about five or six, my best friend told me that a witch was trapped in one of my bouncy balls, and If I didn't set her free she would take away all of my toys and haunt me forever. I believed her and ran crying to our moms!
i used to believe that when people clipped their toe nails and left it on the floor, it smelled like a witch. so ii would think it was a witches toe clippings. ii would go crazy and ask my parents for a lighter to blow away the witches spirit and stuff. haha
