When I was little my dad told me that in the movie The Wizard of Oz when the wicked witch was flying outside the emerald castle, she was drawing in the air with her farts and that's how she was able to draw with her broom. I believed that until I was a freshman in high school and was told otherwise.

I used to believe there were witches, fairies and magic and that normal people were some of them. So, I didn't like people.

When I was 9 I thought I was Sabrina the teenage witch's sister. (my names Carina so ya no) I would always get very mad at this one boy because he didn't believe me. I told myself that one day, when I turned 16, I would take over the world alongside my "sister" and we would turn the boy into a talking cat. (like salem)

When i was little i used to believe that the Witches were out to get me. I used to be convinced that they were hiding at the bottom of my bed and in the night i'd feel a cold clammy hand reaching up to grab my feet. i also thought they set traps around the house for me, so if i turned the hot tap on before the cold, or took only one tissue from the box, or stepped on a certain bit of ground they could take me away to their lair... the only thing was, i didn't know what was a trap, and what i had to do to fall into it... so i lived in fear of being abducted by the witches

I also believed, when i was even younger, that there were pixies in my room, and i lived with the curtains shut for fear of opening them to find a pixie face pressed against the glass. I thought if i was awake at night they'd get me, and then of course i was too scared to get to sleep, so i hid under the covers and cried with terror, hoping my mum would hear me and come save me from them, but the catch was that if the pixies heard me crying they'd know i was awake, so i had to cry silently, so my mum never heard me!

i used to think that when i went to the bathroom at the end of the hallway, i had to run back to the living room or else a witch would jump out and grab me where the hallway turns. the weird thing was that somehow i could ru through the witch.
i still run through that hallway.

i thought that my sister-in-law was a witch. i was only about 5 or 6 at this time so i asked her, "are you a witch cuz ur nose looks like a witch's nose." my dad, mom, sister, and brother yelled at me but my sister-in law said it looked that way cuz she broke it.

I used to believe that Sabrina The Teenage Witch was rich, and i looked forward to my 16th birthday to see if i was a witch/wizard, i used to always try pointing at things to see if anything would happen, but nothing ever did, lol

I'm only 15 still, lets wait till my birthday to find out the truth, lol

When I was little, I used to sleep with the window blinds open. But, after I saw The Wizard of Oz I wouldn't let my parents open the blinds because I thought a witch would come and get me.

I used to believe and hope that once I turned 16, my parents would tell me that I was really a witch and I would have to start learning how to use my powers. I believed this after watching "Sabrina the Teenage Witch"

I was very young during the early 1950's. When I heard about the "witch hunts" I thought that bad witches, ala The Wizard of Oz were lose, and when guerilla warfare was mentioned on the news I thought gorillas were going to eat us.

i used to blue tack my bed room curtains to the window pane so that the ghostly witch that stood outside could not see me when i slept (i was convinced she was going to try to kill me in my sleep)!

top belief!

When I was young, we learned about the witches burning at the stake in Salem, I was confused with the word "steak" and "stake" and I thought that the witches were burned in the barbeque grill along with raw steaks which is ready to cook. How does one cook steaks on the grill with a witch sitting on it?

okay here's my belief:

I kinda blamed Wizard of Oz for this..

I use to believe that I have 4 witches not from the compass it's of colors

White Witch would live in my closet she's scary but nice, Black Witch would live in my Drawers She's scary and mean, Rainbow Witch would live under my bed she's beautiful and nice, then lastly Brown Witch would live in my Toy Chest she's beautiful but mean. oh god! But I am always afraid of Brown Witch cuz everytime i need a toy to cuddle with but can't because the Brown Witch would drag me down soon as I put my hand in.

Still teriified of Colored Witches!

When I was little, I used to see witches everywhere in my house (it got even worse on Halloween). The Silver Witch lived in the bathtub and she stared at me as I raced down the hall to escape her. The Green Witch lived in the toy room, and unless I touched the couch as soon as I ran in, she would attack me. The Black Witch lived in the closet; she was worst of all. The Pink Witch was good, though; she was a bit like Glinda from Wizard of Oz but she was a bit weird and never said much to me.

When I was about 6 or 7 years old, my best friend's mom put rubber bands on her rubber plant in the living room and told us that that's where the rubber bands came from! This same woman washed her hair with mayonnaise and said all witches do that. I wondered for years if she truly was a witch.

My sister used to tell me that the only way the veins in your wrists could be blue was when a witch had put a spell on you. She said the only way to counter it was to lick a snail shell...And I dont recommend them :S
