I used to think the "D" in the Disney logo was actually a "G" for years and I never understood why, until my mom showed me I was looking at it wrong and it actually was a "D"! I still think it's easy to mistake for a "G".
When I was young I had a huge fear of the Kaa snake from the jungle book cartoon. I would always hide in the other room when he came on the tv. He would give me constant nightmares too.
I'm 15 now, he still scares the @%#$ out of me.
I used to believe that Mowgli from Disney's The Jungle Book was a girl, because he had long hair just like my sister.
I thought Tom was the mouse and Jerry was the cat in Tom & Jerry
I thought that cartoon characters were actually real people and that it was some sort of camera trick to change them into cartoon form on the television. So I truely thought that Fred and Wilma Flinstone were just some actors performing in front of a live studio audience.
My Sister Zoe Saw The Lion King.
She Said That At Night The Lion Come Out And Sing.
I Told Her It was A Cartoon, But She Still Think That a was Real.
When I was a real little kid, there was this local independant station (now owned by the $#(&%( WB which is a DISGRACE!) that showed lots of old cartoons, one of which was Atom Ant (remember? He always went "Up and at'em, Atom Ant!"). Well, I figured he must be the secret identity of Adam Ant (the singer). Don't ask how I thought that would work. It really confused me when during an Atom Ant commercial break, one of those 80s Compilations would be advertisaed and "Goody Two Shoes" would be on the lost of songs. LOL
When I watched TV I used to believe that everything was drawn!
Cartoons were drawn in felt pens and recorded footage was drawn in pencil.
i used to believe that pokemon was real
I used to believe (and still believe, don't laugh) that there was this place that unpopular cartoon characters and everything that ever was made (toys, books, movies, etc.) lived in. It was called forever. DO NOT GIGGLE!
I thought that the fingers SpongeBob held up in “Naughty Nautical Neighbors” represented Sandy, Mr. Krabs, and either Gary or Pearl. Now I realize that Gary was in the room hiding, meaning he didn’t want to be around SpongeBob either, and the episode was actually set before “Help Wanted”; so he hadn’t met Krabs, Sandy, or Pearl yet.
I used to believe that whenever there were comics in a newspaper it was Sunday because I always heard people talking about the Sunday comics. Since we always got a newspaper, I thought everyday was Sunday!
When I was a child I used to believe Pokémons were real because I watched every day on canal 18 it’s gulli but today know Pokemons are not real because they are cartoon characters
I didn't used to believe that cartoons were so difficult to do.
I used to believe that diseases were little things
The Star Trek cartoon series was a cheap show. They recycled images all the time. In one episode, somebody points out the Romulan ship on the viewscreen, but they show a scene of the Klingon ship. I didn't think that this was odd though...the Klingons obviously sold weapons to the Romulans.
I used to believe Superman flew because in the movie, he was flying.
I used to think Cartoons were actors that lived ina different dimension. and we could watch each other on tv. and when "Space Jam" came out, i thought there was some break through in science in which we found out how to cross into each others dimensions
That Batman and Darkwing Duck were scary!
That the voices of cartoons were being performed live every time I watched the show
cartoons could come out of the tv and do what you wanted
