When I was little I used to believe that the musicians and singers on the radio were actually at the radio station performing their song every time it was to be played. I even asked my father "How did they get to the other station so fast?" when he changed the radio station and the same song was playing.
I used to believe that singers, on radio stations, were live on-air and thought that they ran from one station to another. What I couldn't quite figure out was that if I heard a singer on one station and then the same singer a few seconds later on another, how they managed to run so quickly.
I used to think that every time a song came on the radio, the band was playing it live in the studio. I was confused at how they were always at different stations, in such a short amount of time!
I used to believe around five years old that the records I heard on the radio were actually live bands performing at the radio station. I just couldn't figure out how they could change bands so quickly between songs.
I thought that every song that was played on the radio was live. It never occurred to me that they played records in the studio until I heard a song skip one day.
i used to think that when the radio stations played my favorite songs on the cd's that the actual artists would be at the studio playing the song. It amazed me that they could play on two different radio stations at once
I used to think that every time a song was played on the radio it was played live. I thought all the bands had their own dressing rooms and only came out when they had to play their song.
When I was little I used to believe that when I heard a song on the radio it was the band or music group live. When I heard a song I liked I would run to the tv thinking that the song on the radio was on the tv at the same time. Later I found out and CD's.
I used to believe when I was very young that bands actually came to the radio station and set up, played their song, and then left so the next band could hurry up and set their stuff up...
i used to believe that when songs came on the radio that the bands were actually in the station performing live instead of a cassette playing or a cd.
I used to believe that when I listened to the radio, all the bands were standing around somewhere and would play when teh announcer pointed to them! Must have been a biiiiiiiiig room :D
I'm sure that Im not the only one according to some posts but I actually thought that all the songs on the radio were played by the musicians themselves on site.LOL...I can just picture the confusion , bands setting up and taking down their equipment , bands coming back to the station 5 hours later only to do the same song.
As a child, I once believed that every time you hear a song on the radio, the singers were at the radio station performing it live.
When I was younger I used to believe that when radio stastions played music, they actually had the band/singer live in the studio. I thought I was stupid to believe this when I was older but then I realized I wasn't the only one when I had to break the news to my cousin.
Up until I was about 13, I used to believe that when radio stations played music, they had the actual live band in there singing. I used to ponder for hours how they got in and out and set up so fast to immediatly start the song after the last one. I had thought this becuase i was watching Selina and when she was recording her song, i thought that she was singing for a radio, so i imagined those kinds of rooms where they came in and out.
Took me a while to figure out that maybe they had TAPES or RECORDS.
tee hee
I seem to remember that when I was younger, I thought all the music you heard on the radio was coming from the musicians actually performing it live from inside the radio station. This confused me greatly when I would hear the same song at two different parts playing on two different radio stations.
When i was little i be;ived that all musicians played live at the radio station. I saw a small radio station and asked my mom how they aall fir in such a small building. She explained that they were recorded
When I was about 5 i used to listen to old music w/my parents I always used to think that there were people actually in the studio playing the songs. When I was about 6 I visited the radio station and asked where all the people where and everyone looked at me strangely
I used to believe that when you listened to the radio that the people singing were actually in the radio station and that they would stop in if they were in the area. I couldn't understand why people made such a big deal about stars bieng in concert because they were always at the radio station.
i used to believe that every time i listened to the radio, the bands were actually playing at the station at that moment. At some point, i came up with the hypothesis that bands were lined up ahead of time and so they would shuffle one band into the station right after another was finished.
