when i was tiny, i used to think that every time a song was played on the radio, the band, or singer, was in the studio, and i was amazed that our stupid hometown radio station knew so many people
When I was alot younger, I used to think that all the songs on the radio were constantly sung by the artists. I use to ask "How come the singers don't get tired?" Now I know how the radio works! Yay!
When I was younger I used to think that every time a song was played on the radio, the band would have to play it live, again and again and again. I imagined some sort of large building where all the bands worked and played their songs a few times a day. I thought they must get really bored just waiting around for their next turn.
I used to believe that when songs were played on the radio they were all being played live... alot of my time was spent thinking about how in the world the guitarist and singer and drummers could fit in one tiny recording room like that...
When I was a little kid listening to the radio, I was thinking that the people singing were all down at the radio station...like they all just hung around there all the time waiting for their turn to sing again. It was the time of the old top 40 format on most stations, so you heard the same old songs over and over, so that made perfect sense to me at the time. Funny, huh?
Whenever I listened to the radio, I thought that whenever a song came on, the actual singer was in the studio. In other words, if a Gloria Estefan song came on the radio, I thought she was in the studio singing it.
I used to believe that the music I heard on the radio was played by the bands who were in the radio station.
I used to believe that when I heard a song on the radio, the band that was on was actually there live! I would imaging a stage where they were performing, with somebody behind the curtain, recording.
I used to believe that every time a song played on the radio that the actual band came in and played there song... I always thought those radio people were very busy rushing people in and out of the studio.
I used to believe that the songs on the radio were live and the bands were at the radio station performing. I thought the bands would play the same songs again every hour.
I thought every song was sung live at the radio station. I used to picture the artists standing on a platform in front of a microphone singing.
I used to think that when I would listen to a band or song on the radio, that the band was actually playing at the radio station. There was a large radar dome also used for aviation in my hometown, I thought that was the radio station and the bands played in this big dome. I would always ask my dad if we were driving to drive me to the dome because I wanted to see the bands play.
When I would listen to the radio, I could never figure out how they got so many bands in just one building!
When I was a kid I thought all the music played on the radio was live. I never could understand how all those bands could fit into the radio station and be ready to play their music sooooo fast. (AM radio, WIFE, Indianapolis, circa 1963)
I used to believe that when i heard a song on the radio that the people singing it were actually there in the studio and after they finished singing they would go to the next town to perform their song on the radio and so on. Guess they all would have got pretty tired hey.
I used to believe that when you heard a song on the radio, It was the band actually playing live in the radio station studio.
I used to believe that when listening to the radio the music was being played live by the band. If my Mum ever switched to a different station and I heard the same song I imagined that the band had piled into the back of a van and sped across town to the next studio.
When I was young, I used to believe that whenever you heard a song on the radio, there was a band in the booth along with the deejay playing that song.
when i was a kid and listened to the radio i thought all the bands were in the studio playing live so id just imagine liek 50 bands chillin in a room smokin cigs and drinkin coffee and when it was their turn to play the dj would come out and tell them to come in and play
also i used to be scared of that "my bicycle" song by queen cuz it reminded me of the wtich from wizard of oz
Whenever I listened to the radio, I used to think that each band came into the radio station, one at a time, played their song, and left. As I grew a little older, that theory was changed by my thinking that ALL of the bands were in the studio, but played their one song and then left...
