My take on The Who's 'Who Are You?'
Real:I remember throwin' punches around
And preachin' from my chair

And reachin' for my chair
I imagined the singer throwing cheese puffs at the other band members, and crawling around trying to reach his precious recliner before anyone else could sit there.
I just read the belief about someone thinking that the song I'm 'Blue' went 'I'm blue I'm in need of a guy'. I used to think that it was 'I'm blue I believe I will die'.
My friend and I loved going to hockey games, They played Cotton Eye Joe a lot, and we loved that song so much. One time at a party we went up to sing it on kareoke and we were really shocked that it was "If it hadn't been for Cotton Eye Joe" and not "Vaydodden veence a Cotton Eye Joe".

In Nelly's song "Hot in Herre" he says "I'm looking for the right time to shoot my seed", ie masturbation. Well, when the song came out I was 10 and didn't know what that was, and I heard "I'm looking for the right time to shoot my steed". As I loved horses, I thought it was terrible that Nelly would want to shoot one.
top belief!
Due to the foolishness of a couple friends of mine, and my gullibility, I thought that the song "Dirty Deeds" by AC/DC actually went "Dirty deeds, done with sheep" instead of "done dirt cheap".
When I was younger I overheard my two brothers arguing over the lyrics of a song. One was sure it was "Werewolves of Thunder" and the other was certain it was "Where was London". I had to correct them both, once I stopped laughing. The song, of course, Werewolves of London.
Well, they were both HALF right.
I thought that in the song "Jumpin' Jumpin'" by Destiny's Child, the lyrics were "The club is for the ballers and their cock is full grown" when it really was "they pocket's full grown" It sounded so much like it, just listen to the song!
Remember the song "I Saw the Sign" by Ace of Base?
I remember when it was really popular (I was in 2nd grade at the time.) I used to think that the title was "I SMELL the Sign". I even have a clip on VHS of me singing it that way!
I am still made fun of about this....
I also thought the name of the band was Ace-a Base and it was the main singer's name. Ha!
I thought the lyrics to Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" was "to me you're like a roman dictionary and I..." when I think now it's actually, "to me you're like a grown addiction that I can't deny."
My father sometimes likes to ask my brother what the name of a certain song is.
Two of the funniest answers that he's SERIOUSLY given have been "Gecko" for the Rolling Stones "Get No(satisfaction)" and "Slow Moving Waters" for Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Waters"
You know that dance song sung my the One Hit Wonders Eiffel 65 called "I'm blue"? Well at the Chourus they say "I'm blue-da bu de da bu die" For many Years I thought they were saying "I'm in need of a guy."
