For years I thought the first line of the song 'Word up' was 'bald headed ladies around the world' when it's actually 'Yo, pretty ladies around the world'.

I used to think the Madonna lyrics to La Isla Bonita were 'Young girl with eyes like potatoes' and also the Queen song Breakthru 'Im under your thumb..'
woz first of all 'Im under your book' Then 'Im under your f**k'. Also, Im still not sure of the lyrics to The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony, they sound like 'I am here, in my mong' to me.

When I was little, and Angie from Rolling Stones went on the radio, I always tought he sang: I'm Jack, IIII'm Jack instead of Angie, Angie, and I never really understood why Mick Jagger wanted to prove he was Jack.

There was that song from Shakira, Objection. We made a dance to that music for our prom in Hungary. Once I heard my friend singing: ...'I'm not your mother, but you don't live in bubble' , when the lyrics was ' you don't even bother'. I was laughing on the floor, but she explaned it had a sense: You don't live in bubble means: you are not alone, you have to pay attention to others, don't be selfish..I think it has something in it:)

this is my cousins...
when she was about 3, she used to sing: "ride a croc horse, to BAN BEE cross, fine lady, white horse, fingers and toes, ever ever she goes" instead of: "ride a cock horse, to banbury cross, to seea fine lady upon a white horse. with rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, and she will make music wherever she goes
cracked me up every time

i thought the song 'all star' went:
she was looking kinda dunb
with her finger in her bum
instead of
she was looking kinda dumb
with her finger and her thumb
i used to get so annoyed at my lil sister for singing it!!! i only just found out now that i was wrong lol

My friend Rylan tired to convince me that the lyrics to Scar Tissue by the Red Hot Chili Peppers were "With the birds I'll shave this lonley pube" when in fact it is " With the birds I'll share this lonely view"

When I was younger we used to sing the Canadian National Anthem at every school assembly. I proudly sang "with glowing hearts we see thee rise, the True North strong and free", congratulating myself on getting all the words right. However, it wasn't until I was a little older that I realized I had at least one line a little bit wrong. The line was, in fact, "We stand on GUARD for thee", and not "We stand on GOD for thee" as I had been singing my whole life. I just figured we must be a pretty great nation if we came above God in the grand scheme of things.

The song that says something like "Wild thing, you make my heart sing...". My sister convinced me that it said "Wild think, you keep my house clean." I'm not sure whether she believed it or not.

Alright everybody, you know the Eagles song, "Witchy Woman"? I used to sing it as "bitchy woman," thinking that I was singing it right. And you know their song "Get Over it"? I used to think he said "...find your little child and kick it in the grass" instead of "...find your little child and kick it's little ass."

I can't remember what the song is...I can't even remember what it even sounds like, but I do remember that there is a boy at the end of the song that goes 'Clap your hands'. When my sister and I heard it on the car radio, we thought he was saying 'bucket head'. We were both wondering what that has to do with anything.

In the song 'you sexy thing' by Hot Chocolate, I used to think that the opening line 'I believe in miracles' was actually 'I believe in Michael' and I often wondered why Errol Brown & Co were singing about a bloke called Michael who was apparently a very 'sexy thing' hehe

In the song by the Beatles with the lyrics "Something in the way, she moves", I used to think that the something was an object, that "she" moved out of the way!

When I was about 5, I thought the song "Barbara Ann," by the Beach Boys, was about Bob Rae, the premier of Ontario at the time.

That the Rolling Stone's sang "bye, bye Horses; Couldn't drag me away"

To me it seemed a bit woosy that such a rock group seemed to be so sentimental about loosing their horses.

It wasnt until later when i was singing it that my father kindly corrected me.

turns out it was "Wild Horses".

Mine is so much better.
