This wasn't that long ago, but at a sleepover my friends and I were singing Just Lose It by Eminem and the part where he goes "Ahh, Dre, beer goggles blind" I thought it was "Ahh, Drake, beer bottles go flying!" We still crack up to that today.

My friend told me that for a long time she thought that the Rolling Stones song "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" was really "I Can't Get No Bitch in Action". Her version of it is actually better than the real one, it sounds more rock and roll.

When I was little, I used to think the words to one of the songs in Cinderella were "Sink weed nightengale" when they are actually "Sing sweet nightengale"

At the end of the song"Please don't go" which came out in the 80's, I thought they were saying Pizza Dough. Now when I hear that song with my kids, I still sing pizza dough and we all laugh.

When my parents bought the Beatles One album and I heard their song "Can't Buy Me Love" I thought they were singing Got Puppy Love. The words seemed to fit and my brother thought the same thing. Sometimes I still sing the wrong words because it makes me smile.

I used to think that in the song written by backsteet boys that goes "there's something missing in my heart" when "There's something disespangdidly so!". I thought disespangdidly was a foreign language that only the backstreet boys knew!

My grandma and I were in the car when the song "Trying to find Atlantis" came on. The lyrics went like-- trying to find the perfect man is like trying to find atlantis-- My grandma looked at me and said "Did she just say 'Trying to find the perfect manyase (sorry, my spelling stinks) is like trying to find the lettuce'?" I laughed so hard after that!

When I was younger I thought the Rudolphe the Red-Nosed Reindeer song said "you'll go down in his story" (as opposed to history) so I thought I could jump into the book and live at the North Pole. I was sorely disappointed when I learned otherwise.

ive always thought the lyrics to brand new went:
''and i like that fiberotic lamp'' instead of:
''and i liked it the further i got out''
''im having sex'' instead of ''im heaven sent''
i still dont hear them the same.

Remember that 90's song "I'll be your crying shoulder"? my sister and I thought for the longest time the guy was saying "I'll be your crying soda" which went with "a love suicide" which was mentioned in the next line in the song. We still sing it as soda because it sounds better to us that way.

"Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who was misheard as "won't get food again". Imagine the embarrasment of singing this song out loud to friends who are big The Who fans.

For the longest time I misheard a line in the EMF song "Unbelievable" - what should have been: "Never think you're asked to brace yourself" sounded to me like "Never pick your ass to brace yourself."
It still sounds like that to me.

Billy Jean is not my mother
Just a girl who says that "I am your mom"
But the chair is not my son ....

If anyone wants to interpret that for me, it'd be much appreciated

I used to think that the song "Only the Lonely" by Roy Orbison was (and dont ask me why) about a ghost named 'Only' and he was lonely so people called him "Only the Lonely" i never thought when he said only he meant only i thought it was a weird name like "ownly or Owenley"

My mum thought the song "The drugs don't work" by the verve was "The trucks don't work"

and "return of the mac" she thought was "please turn out the light"

I have always been (and still am!) convinced that the Beach Boys song 'I Was Made To Love Her' has the refrain 'Hey, hey, you son of a b***h!'. I am told that it actually says 'Hey, hey, yes I was made to love her' - but I don't believe it!

When we were little me and my brother were huge fans of Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. I used to sing the theme tune all the time, but misheard it so that the end line of "what a cool rap" became "radacoo ra"
