I'm not sure of the song's title, but my little brother mistook the lyrics: "fifty seven channels and nothing on", for "fifty seven towns and a dozen farms"

In the Greenday song "Holiday" i heard "Blay, blay, you're the broken cabinet" instead of "bang bang goes the broken glass and"

That song is REALLY hard to understand. Try it.

The song "Hanging By a Moment" by Lifehouse the part that goes:
"I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you"

I thouhgt it went:
"I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've ever known
I'm standing here until you make me blue
Hanging by a moment here with you."

I have a couple of them...
My brother thought that 'Black Whole Sun' by Soundgarden was 'Asshole Sun'.
He also thought the Franz Ferdinand song 'Take Me Out' when the singer says, "I'm just a crosshair," he thought they said, "I'm just a cross-eye."
And this is my belief, in the song 'Not Your Bottle' by the Dandy Warhols, when the singer says, "Passing out hits of LSD." I thought he said, "It's my LSD." To my embarrassment when I sang that out loud!

When I was young, I thought in Jimmy Hendrix's song "Purple Haze" he was saying "excuse me while I kiss this guy" instead of kiss the sky. I then preceded to ask my mom if Jimmy Hendrix was gay

The Nickel Creek song, "Spit On A Stranger", says "I could spit on a stranger, pull me out." (I don't get it, really.) Instead, when I was younger I reckoned it went, "I could shit on a stranger, oh meow."

When I was young, my hearing was much worse. I always heard the Paul Simon song "Call Me Al" on the radio and until I was 10 and found out the real name of the song, I always thought it was called "Cornmeal", and wondered why a song about corn was so popular.
